Since they're running a rebate, I just picked up my 2nd S2200. This charger is perfect for charging two 5000 packs at 2C, which is my preferred rate for time.

Ryan. Nice charger. Love the plug and play feature with Spektrum Smart batteries. Especially the Spektrum G2 batteries. I notice the G2 batteries don’t take as long to charge vice the G1. Even the not so smart batteries are easy to charge once you learn the layout of the buttons. Look forward to seeing your follow up on the pros and cons. So far I‘ve been very satisfied with mine. 👋👍👊💥👊

I've been wanting one of these for a while. I bought a 2100 almost 2 years ago now and its been great. I dont do a lot of 6S yet so I just use an adapter for EC5 to EC3. I use SMART batteries a lot. I love the G2's. One of these days they will put it on a serious sale but three hundred is a lot to spend on convenience.

Hey Sno! If you are already invested inti the batteries, I would strongly consider it right now with their 15% rebate through Hobbyzone. There are a couple of cons, but they are minor with the V1 version like the balance leads being tight while charging and the black plugs being the same color as the charger making it hard to see. Those are not an issue with the V2 packs at all. I also use this charger more than any other because it is just plain awesome and gentle on my packs, which will make them last longer in theory. I hope that helps!

& occasionally, spektrum comes out with smart battery updates! (Yes believe it or not 🤪). U can update ur packs thru THIS charger. Just be sure to KEEP your smart chargers up to date! 👍 I bought 2 of these, along with switching out to ALL smart batteries, chargers, etc after a dumb charger (venom 4x) overcharged a new zeee battery 2+ years ago n almost burned my house and service dog. I was out of site 10 SECONDS!

Oh man! I have noticed that some chargers do overcharge packs. This one is my go to for Smart and Dumb packs after well over a year of solid use.

Hey brother! I agree with you. I just haven’t had the budget to get that done since it came out. Further compounding things, since my baby arrived, less people are supporting the channel without a stream. That also means less affiliate links clicked for less fun money for fun planes like that 👊🏻💥👊🏻

I am not sure I understand. Let’s try this, if you want to charge a 1,000 mAh battery at 1C, you will want to go with a 1 Amp charge rate. With the same battery, to achieve a 3C charge rate, you want to charge at 3 Amps. I hope that helps 👊🏻💥👊🏻

So far mine have held up really well, except for the one I ran dead in the A-10 and have not been able to push it in something else like my TT Evo with Smart.

@@GBLynden ya but 44$ for just a basic 3s 2200 mah Lipo I’m sorry but that’s abusive, hell I buy higher mah 4s pack for cheaper and there is nothing that’s is made different in those batteries to increase the price that high, there all made in the same place or right down the street in china same goes for the charger I can buy a higher spec charger for less than half the price of that spek charger.
