I 🎉having same problem. When bluetooth on phone ON it will work on tuya smart app. If i turn off Bluetooth it stops working. I have a tuya zigbee gateway but it will not find the motor. What is wrong?

The device uses bluetooth so it does not work with zigbee gateway. You need to have bluetooth gateway or multi-mode gateway which includes both zigbee and bluetooth for the device to work.

thank you. that is what i thought. i just ordered a multi mode moes brand gateway that has zigbee 3.0, bluetooth and wifi.@@magiccgadgets

I think there's no limit to the distance that it works. When first setting up, you just need to press start learning when the curtain is fully closed and press stop learning after the curtain is fully opened.
