Hi there, how to work with tuya smart curtain to bluetooth gateway? It will command to alexa but not opening the curtain

What type of Gateway are you using? Generally you just open up the gateway in the app and add the Curtain Robots to the gateway. Once added they can then be controlled using Alexa or Google, hope that helps

Hi. Add mine via Bluetooth and it works fine. I turn off my Bluetooth and it stops working. I have a Tuya Zigbee gateway but I can't ass this it will not find. Do i need a regular Tuya gateway?

Sorry I don't really understand your question. Is it the Gateway that you are trying to add to the Smart Life app? What gateway are you using and what curtain robots are you using?

Does it work with extendible rods

Can i physically move my curtains after installing the device?

If you have to you can but once installed there not designed to be moved manually so be very slow and gentle or you will damage the gearboxes in the robots. Not recommended

Hi. May I ask, I bought 1 pair wifi version. it only have 1 gateway in this set. But I can't control this robot seperately. They paired together and on my apps only 1 device appeared and only 1 control button which operate both robots together. Is there any way I can control this seperately?

You need to buy another dongle if you want to separate them because the dongle is what is used to communicate with 1 pair so no way to separate that communication link for 2 separate robots. I think the dongle is very cheap though 🤔

@beehomestay no, you only need 1 gateway however I would recommend staying with the wifi version because they are alot more reliable then the Bluetooth version from my experience. I personally only use the wifi version now and it was the best decision I ever made

@beehomestay if you want reliable working curtains everyday then you won't want the bluetooth version. That's why I use wifi version and recommend wifi only for reliability

Do you really have to charge it every month?

At the time of this video these bluetooth curtain robots were a new design and yes I had to charge them about every 4-6 weeks. Eventually I ended up throwing these away in the end as they became so unreliable and later I upgraded to the WiFi version which I haven't charged in about 4 months and they have been very reliable. I don't recommend buying this old model bluetooth version. I need to update this video with a newer one for the WiFi curtain robots unless the newer bluetooth version is better, they have released a few updated versions since this video but I have not tested any of them so cannot comment on that but the WiFi version I have and I highly recommend.

Do i also need gateway to control just with phone app? Is it bluetooth/wifi?

If you dont use a gateway you will find it very frustrating and very unreliable. The wifi version is way more reliable then the Bluetooth version and the wifi version comes with the gateway in the box. I highly recommend always using a gateway

@@SHORTwithTECH ok i'm super confused now. From what i see the gateway is for Bluetooth. And for wifi they sometime sell a remote control . I just want one i can control with phone app and don't know what to buy

@joelevi9823 even if your just using the phone app you will still need the gateway. If you don't use a gateway you will have many connection problems between your phone and the robot. Yes it can work without the gateway but you will experience lots of connection problems. Buy and use the gateway or you will be very disappointed Without the gateway the curtain robot is not worth buying and a waste of money

@@SHORTwithTECH i understand.. but i only need to set the timer once to wake up at morning.. i don't need control all the time to open close.. what do you think ..still buy gateway?

@joelevi9823 you still need the gateway or you will lose connection all the time and it won't work, trust me, without a gateway this product is absolute junk. Click the link and buy the wifi version, it comes with everything you need and will be more reliable then the Bluetooth version. a.aliexpress.com/_mL60ebY

It sounds like your not using a gateway. A gateway must be used to control it with your voice assistant

Where was the "review'? Must have missed that in all the silence other than "open shutters"
