Small rivers of Kent. Part 6. The Bourne.

Спорт

The small rivers of Kent series continues, and this time I head for the smallest river so far in the Bourne.
Brook Trout or brown Trout are the target today using small plastic lures and Mepps spinners to catch from tiny pools and short glides.

What a great little river, water quality must be good. By the way I used to work with a Security firm in Battersea back in the 80s, there was a Bob Vicary there, any relation? Cheers😂

Thanks for watching. I can't go past a small stream now without having a look and imangeing what little fish's live in them. Don't know of any Bob's in the family, although the spelling "vicary"is quite unusual, so could well be related. My sister has done some exploration of the family ill ask her.

Hello Paul Really enjoyed your Kentish Streams mini series. AGM products have micro lures, jig heads and I believe some very small spoons.

Glad you're enjoying them I'm becoming quite addicted to these little rivers and quite looking forward to having a go in the winter. Thanks for the tip on the lures, I thought the ones I had wee small but those trout needed some micro lures. Git some nice little single hooks spoons arrived in the post today.

You need some much smaller lures for those fish!

Thanks for watching Max, you are so right, I wasn't quite prepared for them being so small. Have already purchased some single hook 2.5gram spoons.
