Just remember, it has 10-cores processor compared to SD 8 Gen 3 that has 8-cores. So the processor itself will consume more battery.

@TheMichaelparis true, but considering how much worse the 2200 was compared to 8 gen 1, not having wifi 7 is still better than a new phone with an SoC on par with last year performance it still sucks that they downgraded the wifi but honestly I don't even think that's that much of a problem since probably not even 1% of the users will ever use wifi 7

Benchmarks doesn't mean much, when the past showed us that exynos handles emulation way worse than snapdragons, even though they benchmark similar, or when you can't use the same high settings in certain games which has been showed here on youtube as well. They also tend to be less power efficient, which means less battery life and all that for the same money. @@kookesstuff

yes, Frame Booster enabled = frame interpolation enabled. Its always enabled by default from the factory by Samsung, so you need to install the Game Booster Plus to disable it, like he's doing in the video.

The exynos 2400 is better for battery life, cause of being an newer smarter on battery usage...

Although there are still many shortcomings, Exynos is still developing further.

Waiting for the battery life test on the regular s24….any chance you’ll get the same phones with different chips to compare?

I have S22 Exynos 2200 android 14 and today made a test because of this video. Unbelievable for me but almost locked 60fps on highest settings on Genshin Impact and i played 2 hour. Max tempreture was 44 celsius so its colder than exynos 2400.

I feel like the software side is not yet fully optimized, taking into consideration the graphical glitches in Fortnite and some stutters in other games. Also, as for the camera, it feels really worse than the S23, at least that's what I feel from other KZread videos. Hopefully Samsung takes notice and quickly fixes all those things.

It's really very good performance

my main issue with testing genshin right now with the exynos version is that the exynos version of genshin uses lower quality textures and models compared to the one that runs on snapdragon. I would say to wait before comparing the 2

In the full review of the phones, will you test the camera performance with the Exynos 2400 chip vs S23 with snap, im curious about the chipset processing and the end product. Couse we see that Ex 2200 does detectible lower quality shots than Snapdragon 8 gen 1.

Finally found someone testing genshin's newer regions. You forgot to test fontaine underwater tho. Good to know that the exynos is holding up. Looking forward to a comparison test with 8 gen 2 and 8 gen 3

It's cool to see exynos holding its own. Many people are just brushing this chip aside as weak and inferior even before this phone came out and assume that the 8 gen 3 has no issues.

The stutter could be also compatibility issue (apart from temperature issue, ofc). My ipad mini 6 had random stuttering issue around patch 3.6, not sure why..but it's normal again now. The best way to test genshin is on spiral abyss, or doing coop domain with tons of mobs, with kazuha, and hyperbloom team with a mobile data. Those crazy particles will definitely pose a challenge in terms of connectivity and gpu performarmance

Just a fan is not enough because the game fps is low and the game stability must be good. For example, the iPhone gets hot, but neither the FPS nor the stability decreases, and that's what's important.

My Exynos S24 works pretty perfectly in Pokemon Go. I don't play any other mobile games, so it's fine for me. I think if you're a serious mobile gamer you definitely need a high-end Snapdragon phone, preferably of the gaming variety like an Asus ROG Phone 8, or at least an S24 Ultra.

i have an s23 and the battery life is amazing when playing fortnite. it only drains fast while playing a much heavier games like Undawn..

my nord 3 (dimensity9000) gets 60fps max settings (only disabled motion blur else everything highest) and it keeps 60fps for around 30min then drops down to 45-50fps and doest move from there at 45degrees battery. So basically the same as this but more stable i would say and no stutter.

motion blur decreases performance. enable it on your phone then try

Was torn between s23 vs s24. I want the cooler (temperature) one bcs I have bad experience with exynos in s20fe (my current toasty phone). S23 seems the safer choice. But that AI functionality, I want it. Sigh. N with preorder offer of double storage n bank discount, in the end I chose s24. I just hope it doesn't have random heating issue like my current phone n decent battery life to last a day. My s20fe now has bloated battery n battery draining issue bcs of that exynos' random heating (idle/low-load tasks it can shoots up to 42-45°C randomly), I don't even play games on my phone. My phone's life span is short bcs of exynos heating issue. I buy a phone to last me 5 years honestly, this one lasts only 3 years.

This is my dilemma too now... I have time until 30.01 to preorder. I'm torn between S23+ and regular S24, couse the price difference is 60 euro in my country. I'll wait for the full review to decide. But the 23plus offers a bigger screen and battery in only 60 euro, i don't know...😅😅😅 If the Exynos picture processing is better than Snap 8 gen 2,and overall shots look is bette, S24 will be my choice, but we'll see.

I have had the S24 for 2 days now with exynos and 256gb, so far so good, everything runs very smoothly, I didin't run any tests but it looks like I am getting 5h of SoT (maybe it's still learning;)). I was thinking very hard about the S23 becouse it looked great with that snap 8 gen 2, almost every phone on the exhibition in the store would be hot compered to S23, that has to mean something. But I got a good deal with S24 and it looks great, the size is perfect for me, I didin't notice any heating issues, but we'll see with time.

I have s20fe also but the battery was damaged when I accidentally dropped it in the sea. I waited for the release of S24 but I am having doubts with Exynos. But Samsung's preorder package is so good 😂

Amazing... just amazing After 90 mins of gameplay at the highest settings and the most CPU GPU intense games... battery dropped by 38% As a 4000 mah battery ... Well S24 only have 4000MaH while Ultra have 5000MaH so it makes sense to drain more in terms of percentage It would comparable with S24+ since it has 100mah less battery (4900 Mah)

my iphone 12 on ios 17 has now better thermal management than when it was on ios 14 and it has the same performance as this device… how is it possible lmao, it is now a 3 years old phone and on benchmarks it is less powerful than this exynos or snap 8 gen 3.

Because games on android go threw a compatibility layer so it can run on all type of chipsets while games on iPhone are directly built ground up for an iPhone.

S24 still has thermal throttle but it's cute tho kinda want one
