The Bass Lines are bone-rattling and thunderous...and that’s just scratching the surface of the depths of this gem of a song. Thank you S.F. for this timeless gift.

Humble Pie probably did better rounds in the states but the magic of Ogdens Nut Gone Flake and even earlier songs like My Minds Eye and Up The Wooden Hills was gone,to me at least.

Jimmy Page used to be a fan. Marriott was the man that did the star jump that is associated with Page. This could be called heavy metal, I do not like the term, but its way before it was even coined. In Zeppelin's case coined is the active word.

Haha! Absolutely Stephen! The band is based around the greatest rock/soul singer this country ever produced and he lies virtually forgotten by the rest of the country. The only people who remember and applaud him are other top musicians. Without him there would have been no Led Zep and consequently the direction of heavy rock would have been straight across the Atlantic. And who has even heard of Ronnie Lane nowadays? Sadly largely forgotten.
