Ride, ride my see-saw, Take this place On this trip Just for me. Ride, take a free ride, Take my place Have my seat It's for free. I worked like a slave for years, Sweat so hard just to end my fears. Not to end my life a poor man, But by now, I know I should have run. Run, run my last race, Take my place Have this number Of mine. Run, run like a fire, Don't you run in In the lanes Run for time. Left school with a first class pass, Started work but as second class. School taught one and one is two. But right now, that answer just ain't true. Ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah ah Ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah ah My world is spinning around, Everything is lost that I found. People run, come ride with me, Let's find another place that's free. Ride, ride my see-saw, Take this place On this trip Just for me. Ride, take a free ride, Take my place Have my seat It's for free. Ride, my see-saw. Ride, ride, ride, my see-saw. Ride, my see-saw...

This album was Cyril's all time masterpiece and is timeless. The band just worked and should have been big. Roy's vocals fit that album like a glove although he was a weird lead singer. I knew them when and made the call to get Chris Wilson in Boston when the spot was open. Could never understand why The Teenage Head magic couldn't have been recreated. Anyway Cyril has left quite the legacy. Wonder if he's still in the same place in South San Francisco? Over 50 years now.

I've seen a lyric sheet that says the last line of "Departure" is ......"and they use this, to help them, to find.......God!" The last word was deliberately obscured in the recording. Really interesting. This album is about a journey. In fact, they were on a search for spiritual enlightenment throughout their music. Years later, Justin Hayward was asked what they had found in the end. "Christianity", he said. If you look for them, you can find references to religion in their music. Food for thought.

I remember this from the early days of rock FM radio, 1967/68. This song worked so much better on higher fidelity FM, than rock and roll AM. Over the years I fell away from the Moody Blues, but always enjoyed this and a few other cuts.

🎼🎵🎶🎸🥁🪈📀📀💿❤️❤️❤️🧡❤️🧡🎉💯🌞🌛🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠
