Can you check out wind set on kafka and sampo, with er rope and tingyun. I tried it out and am clearing moc 10 in 4 turn (bad substats). Want a comparison.

Hmm…nah. If I had to choose between Sampo and Luka, I’d think Sampo would be better even if there are no wind vul targets: he could proc wind shear on multiple opponents in one ATK vs Luka’s single target dmg. I may be wrong, but if it’s DOT, AOE applicators are better I think.

@@elciscoplummer3255 i think luka will be better because kafka's shock will most likely be enough to take out the mobs, and luka is stronger than sampo when fighting a boss. wind shear just isn't really needed to be applied to the goons

I got 2.8K ATK + 115% Break Effect + 127 Speed + 56:80 Crit Rate/Dmg on Band of Sizzling Thunder + Space Sealing Station. She works really well. I was hesitant on going crit because of how hard it is to build it compared to ATK. But I watched your video from before her release and man I just trust your word so I went crit body instead. All I'm missing rn is more speed but my head piece is garbage so I'll try to get some speed on a new one. Also, congrats on the 30k! Your videos are really informative and straight to the point!

Crit Kafka does sound really cool and I would like to try it out at some point. U make ur vids so welcoming to many build types and state that if u dont have a stat u can use another stat to make it work for YOU/ME. The guides are amazing keep pumping them out!!

Great video I’m personally going to run the DoT build because of the reason you mentioned. Mainly because the DoT substats seem easier to farm and in the future I’d like to use Kafka with a main DoT DPS 5 Star character

I have a 50:150Crit, 2.7k, 90% Break Effect Kafka currently, I don't have any better sets now and honestly I have more pressing things to do like build my other DoT characters for Kafka. So for now I'm done with her until I build those other characters. I'm happy to see proof that Krifka isnt as bad as everyone is saying. So thanks for the well put together vid.

Hey thanks for the explanation on Kritka! I may slowly build one up over time since seeing the crit numbers is very satisfying but for the next month or so all my trailblaze power is going straight into trace mat farming hell lol. Building 4 Nihility units to 1-3 crowns each is so unbelievably expensive bro I thought 190 purples would be passable but nah, only managed to get 2 and a half of them levelled 😂

Before this video I’ve been quite curious of how critka will work out but have always been leaning towards dotka which is what I farmed for. Thanks for the video, it was really informative and although I’ll probably still lean more towards the dot version but I’m not as sus about the crit version and might buil it to try it out when I have the resources to farm the relics and after more testing! You’ve earned my sub and like my man!

One thing that people need to consider about DoT Kafka is that when she is procking the dots applied by the allies those dots depend on the allies atk. So her damage is actually higher when she is running with other dot applier. Meaning that if you take another dot applier in the crit build Kafka her personal damage might fall of a bit, but the dot damage remains strong.

I bring kafka, sampo, luocha and Fire mc in simulated universe world 3 using path of nihility . Both kafka and sampo are not fully build as I just get it, and damn she hit so hard 150k with single ult. I know simulated universe is not the best place for testing but damn DoT damage is no joke.

@@a.p5193 SU gives you a good idea of how much she can do. Mine is using 4 piece thunder set and good night S1. With either just Luka or Sampo on the team she hits between 20 and 30k in MoC and this is without a support so you can imagine how harder she slaps if I actually bring a support and Pela/SW. Also her dmg potential will just get bigger with the addition of new 5* dot characters.

3:56 "2% damage gap" reference comes from Liliy Aquina's theory. However, Lily's comparison was actually "hybrid vs hybrid." Here's stats. (# of sub roll) 2837(0) 134spd(4) 61(8)/120(12) vs 3785(10) 134spd(4) 31(9)/55(1) The second one is supposed to be pure DoT build, but it gets crit sub roll for 9times.

My two cents on this is that if you want a future proof Kafka, go for the DoT build, as it will get stronger as we get new DoT characters like Black Swan. If you want crit numbers, go for CritKa, but it will mostly likely be powercrept by other incoming DPSs, especially when Raiden Mei comes (which i assume will be a very strong hunt lightning character).

Yo smack. Thanks for this, i was prebuilding crit kafka for ages and trying to ignore the hate. Last night i got my E2 Kafka and S1 LC. Got about 67/170 cr/cd with maxed out traces and she is basically one shotting everything except moc 9&10 coz the rest of my teams are hot dogwater. I see why people say dot should be better but with tingyun with S4 rendezvous and the rest of the atk in her kit. Her actual dots are still clapping cheeks. But with the crit, the rest of her kit is insane as well. Also. Salsotto may be troll but its funny af and i have good substats so im staying with that for the time being 😂

I understand the passive aggressiveness because, while I wasn't vocal about it, I wasn't a believer in the 2:1 crit theory. I came from another game (Summoner's War, for context) where 200%+ CD was the standard (and 230-250%+ isn't even that rare, I have probably 50% of my heavily invested characters in that range) so the rule of thumb was aim for 85% CR unless you can keep your CD and go higher. I'd always see that and slightly judge the person saying it, then I went into a calculator and actually messed with the numbers at this game's reasonable and extreme rates and realized it was really close to ideal, and in the process learned that maybe sometimes we need to judge ourselves 😂

I Really like the way you view character builds. I have been trying your builds since I found out your channel. all of your builds are so fun. I wanted to build a Dotka but my sub stats said otherwise so I went full critka. here are my stars Atk 2738 ( hoping to increase it ) SPD 134 CR/CD 65/79 ER Rope 19.9 ( I don't have any useable atk rope) EHR 40 I'm using (Salsotto's Moving City) instead of (Herta's Space Station) bcz I want my kafka personal dmg to be okish too MY talents are all max lvl 10/10/10 basic lvl1 every small traces.

Bcs i saw some comments about needing significantly more ehr once you get that but if i understand it correctly that 30% buff from talent applies to e1 but not to sig LC? a very well built Asta allows you to forego speed boots on Kafka, which makes the crit build even stronger because of ATK boots.

I appreciate this breakdown. I ended up with a 24% CRIT DMG on her speed boots. With Asta I ended up at 170 speed IIRC. I also ended up with a crit rate body with crit dmg and speed, but haven't leveled because I thought it was bad.. I have not been able to get Atk% where needed for dotka. I will build a hybrid critka given my rolls and it seems goofy to keep farming just to get an atk set when I won't be building sampo/luka anyhow.

Love your guides. I have a filming critique. Listening to your audio you seem to be peaking creating a distortion with your microphone. If you record on OBS you might need to set a limiter on your audio to prevent you hitting that threshold no matter how harsh or loud you speak into your mic. As always love your vids and your SW and Kafka guides have helped me alot.

Sure you can play a character however you like, but if you play it on a role/kit that is it assigned it will be more optimal it all comes to preferences but you're gonna miss out, but it's still okay if you're having fun.

Would be nice if you included another set of calculations that incorporate the damage from other DoT users like Sampo. Since part of her damage literally comes from elsewhere

I ended up with a Kritka from all the fodder relics inhad when I farmed for serval day one. No regrets. Serval is a blessing bro 😂

You still need to make Kafka with separate crit set too because some enemy immune to shock damage and it is good for future proof.
