Hey smack, love the vids! One thing tho is that bronyas lightcone shouldnt give a skill point since yukong targets enemies with her ult, not a teammate! Still should be good for the ERR as well as the high base stats tho for a sub dps build. Keep up the good work, cant wait for I.Lunae and the new 4 star healer coming!

I had mentioned this to another CCreator and they said that via testing it did give the SP but I did not do my own testing post that response

My favorite part was when you got into an argument with an imaginary commenter.

There is an argument for setting her speed to just below your sustaining character. That way she always goes after the weakest character and her buffs can go to your damage dealers. Especially since a lot of damage dealers have ways of boosting their speed and de-syncing from Yukong (if you set her speed to them).

Yea, I honestly was thinking of going this route, unless you can get like 150+ speed on her, your dps always end up lapping her eventually and the Buffs go out to your sustain.

I think her buffed normal atk was made as an alternative for yukong to still have value when she cant buff you main dps . Therefore, we should invest into it so she doesnt necesarily have to always take an action right before your main dps. I saw youkongs dealing 15k with normal atk

18:50 This might just be worded weird, but I'm 99% sure you can't have 3 stacks of Roaring Bowstrings at once. Her skill specifies "up to 2" and her character portrait during battle has the circles that show how many charges she has left. So, she can effectively have 3 stacks of Roaring Bowstrings if you let one fall off and then ult, but that means the character going after Yukong will not get the Crit/Crit DMG buff. You could just use the Ult after using the skill regardless, but you miss out on the E6 bonus. However, it's still great in terms of making her actually consistent with all the speed/advance forward/action delay mechanics in the game that make true speed tuning a literal nightmare.

yeah max stacks is still 2 pretty sure E6ulti just gives her 1 stack without having to use her skill

The biggest hurdle to me is trying to figure out how fast your dps get, thought I had her fine tuned, but then you throw her in different teams, and your dps get speed boost from passives and end up passing her, for me personally, I need her speed up to like 150+ to always go before seele/jing, also it seems impossible for the lighning lord to ever get the skill buff. I just feel like she is used for ult pretty much and to cycle your dps ults.

SUPPOSEDLY if you have E2, you are able to run her with an atk rope(or break if you swing that way), as long as she is on Vonwacq planar set, but I have not personally tested this yet

How about now (two weeks later as of commenting right now)?

What are your thoughts on a slow yukong? It better makes use of her technique, and if your two damage-oriented characters are the first two in the order, yukong basically goes before them (just not the first rotation), but we have her technique to give us bowstrings at the start.

Well she is theoretically in the same position as what I mentioned so it should work. Only issue is less energy regen since she isn’t going twice. Might work honestly to be fair.

Its my planned build for her, honestly I'm not so keen to fine tune her speed to my dps, I'm just gonna put her in the same team as Clara/QQ which both doesn't need speed boot to make my life easier lol

i honestly think the best way to build yukong is her being the slowest. 1. She will deal more personal damage. 2. Her technique fills in the first turn buff. 3. Every hunt character has speed boosting traces. They usually overtake yukong if you build her for speed. You wont need to do this of you are running destruction or erudition characters with her.

She can’t deal more damage if she is the slowest because 2 turns per round turns into 1 turn per round. Making her the slowest is going to put her below the speed breakpoint. This is going to cause ER problems, skill point problems, and hunt characters can still end up behind her over x amount of turns. Taking away her speed does a lot worse than good from this perspective but maybe with dance x3 it can alleviate some of these issues.

@@GachaSmack07 I can relate. I tried her with Seele(ATK) and Jingyuan. Seele buffs her own speed to around 160. Yukongs E1 (Aerial Marshal) also buffs her allies speed by 10%. I agree that she will have less energy with slow yukong but I think her ultimate just needs to line up with the DPS ultimate to get the most out of her. I personally just find it very difficult trying to make her the fastest and have consistent buff uptime especially with hunt characters, tingyun and jing yuans LL(Sometimes). I guess she was tailor made for a future imaginary destruction character.

Hey smack u prob won’t see this but I was wondering if u would consider making a Himeko guide. I know she is not the best unit, and u could get more views out on more meta units but I and all the Himeko lovers would appreciate it if u could take time to make a video on Himeko. I know these videos take a while to make but u know I gotta ask at least. Obviously I understand if u just don’t want to for whatever reason(and even more so if u straight up don’t have to lol). But oh well hope u have a gud day

Definitely disagree on the investment of the talent and basic attack, her dmg is quite good and you will most likely do every other basic and would be missing so much dmg

So I built her for my Clara team (Clara, Luocha, Tingyun, and her) but I might have made a mistake in ascending her to 80 because I simply don’t have relics to speed tune her and the rest of my team. Since Clara is so slow, she ends up buffing Tingyun and Luocha, and they’re not built for damage. I decided to move her to another team (Seele Welt Natasha and her) until I can get enough and the necessary relics to speed tune the other team. For now, Bronya or Pela will replace Yukong in the Clara team.

Prolly best to use slow Yukong built on Clara team, both her & Clara use atk boots so her turn will by default be before Clara. Without any speed substat on both of them of course. Clara counters received full buff every time.

i think theres value to, at some point, invest in her BA and talent, to break shields because with her talent i think he does something like an skill lvl of shield break... and theres a good sinergy with the cogs LC as well.. but yeah... is the last priority since the game is fking resource hungry

The shield break doubles with her talent perk. Increasing the talent will not increase the shield dmg though just her basic attack dmg when enhanced.

Ok, I came back to the guide finally. I built her and my team with her is now Yukong 157 Welt 150 Blade 131 and Luocha base spd. I have her E2 and the team works pretty well. It's always her then Welt, and rotates between Blade and Luocha, blade doesn't need her buffs really but it's nice and Luocha already decent dmg shoots up 😂

Almost 3 months of game and i never saw an rope with energy regeneration. ._.

If her buff worked on Dan's passive I'd use her a lot more

lc skill point doesn't work on yukong because the ult is cast on an enem

How about if i put her last in rotation so that she can still buff my main dps sushang?

Nope. Sushang will eventually out sync due to her speed talent. Build Yukong with speed.

When tinghyun is casting her E, does it consume 1 stack of yukhong's buff?

Can you explain how her auto attack gets all the damage buffs with e6, it just says she gives a stack after using ultimate, so three Allies get it but how does she get buffs for her own auto attack

Basically, as long as Yukong has her ult, she can wait until her turn comes around and use her ult at the beginning of it. After that, she has a stack of Roaring Bowstrings, along with the Crit % and Crit Damage buffs that come from her ult when Roaring Bowstrings is up (and general Attack % from Bowstrings). Then she can use her auto attack with all of those buffs active for some big numbers (assuming you crit). This also applies to when he was talking about leveling her talent, since you want her talent to be active the turn you Ult->Attack. At level 15 her talent says "Basic ATK additionally deals Imaginary DMG equal to 100% of Yukong's ATK..." So assuming you also have her basic, talent, and ult traces maxed, you'll be dealing 686% ATK damage in a single turn. For reference, a level 15 Seele ult deals 510% ATK damage, and a level 15 Dan Heng ult deals 624% ATK damage against slowed enemies. Now, Yukong does require 2 actions to deal that damage, so she's not actually dealing more damage in a turn than them. It's just to show how she can provide some serious burst damage as a Support or Sub DPS role in a team.

So it states that she “immediately” gains a stack of roaring bow strings upon using ult. Her ult gives entire team crit rate and crit dmg if she cast it while roaring is active. So you essentially can pop her ult and then auto attack with all buffs applied. Complete game changer to her kit.

Huge waste to do it this way, never ever use her ulti to buff an at most 200% multiplier when you can do it on a welt for example that has like a 380% scaling skill.

Your blunt assholiness (is that a word? It is now!) is precisely why I dig this channel.

Even at E6 its just too hard to guarantee her buffs sync with your DPS. Especially in SU with blessings that give characters extra turns. She's challenging but not very fun especially if you have E1 Bronya and/or E6 Tingyun.

She sounds so high maintenance. I think I'll shelve my plans to build her for now, since I don't have plans to get a mono imaginary team anytime soon. Speed tuning is a nightmare ontop of relic choices. Her Eidolons seem way too impactful as well. I can't. I'd rather build Asta.

No need to worry on missing buff on dps when your team only contain 3 characte

My yukong is the lowest in speed so she goes before blade which is my fastest somehow but she is before my dps.

i got e8 yukong 😭 she wont leave me alone... but the game wont give me good stats on her and speedtuning her for dhil is a pain

but i absolutely love playing her. my dhil condistently hits 150k+ everytime with her buffs, alongside tingyun and huohuo buffs. its insane rlly. i could probably do a lot more dmg if i got her relic right

For someone who has tingyun and bronya fully built you forgot to tell me why on earth would i invest all of this time , resources and fine tuning especially the benefits in MOC (the only place i would use ) aren't that significant
