Going for the trophies on PS5 I like how they made a more challenging list this time. These tike trials dont seem to leave much room for error

playing this on PS5 right now!!! only needed 10, but this video basically made me decide na, on top of the platinum i'm going for the full 100%!! i just 100%ed the game on PS5!! this video helped so much towards that thank you so much!!

Working on the plat for the ps5 port and this channel has been awesome. Thank you for your vids!

Using the exploding hat was a really neat trick, I didn’t know you could do that. I’ll be sure to use that next time even though the level is easy enough. I also didn’t know you could skip that beginning section in boneyard casino and roll onto the last roulette wheel. I hated doing the run for this level and this helps a lot.

Great video and great hacks/shortcuts. Came in handy for the PS5 version.

1st of all, Thanks for the video...im new to the game & didn't get the manual with the control descriptions...had/have no clue about the exploding hat yet..ill keep trying tho & im sire ill be back soon..lol

30:00 for Duel by the Dragon you don't actually have to use the two fireworks at the end, to destroy the wall which goes up to the dragon's tail you can use your cane to destroy them.

I'm playing on the PS5 and done everything but the time trial. I thought you'd get something to help you gain speed after beating the game, but no. I kept trying the "High Class Heist," and I couldn't get it. So I just deleted it. There is no room for errors or getting caught by the lasers. Thought it'd be a little like Crash with the time trials but not at all.

These challenges are BS. They don’t need to have razor thin margins. It’s insane.

Why do I feel like the PS3 version slowed that timer down? Im redoing this on a FAT PS2, and it’s freaking huts!

for the gunboat run use the cows nest skip you have to do it for the trophy anyway shaves about 30 secs off. also nice skip OOB for the swamp snake speedrun

Stun! It freezes all the guards for few seconds! You get it from the last vault! and thank you! :)

7:31 I just found out about a trick which lets you skip most of the graveboat graveyard of course other people probably already found this out, and if they did that's fine i just thought i would share this shortcut anyway. So instead of climbing up the rope to the airplane you'd actually have to stand on the crows nest on the side where the three metal beams are you can then jump in-between the gap of those beams, and while using the slow falling ability, you can move Sly so he barely lands on the pieces of wood, at least that's how it went for me when I tried this.

Anyone else trying to do this on PS5? I'm trying to finish A Stealthy Approach but it's just not happening. Edit: Coming back to let everyone know I got the platinum trophy and completely skipped A Stealthy Approach.

The timer for A Stealthy Approach is surprisingly tight. It's doable, but I don't think I've ever completed it with more than 1.5 seconds on the clock before I hit the end marker. Use the roll downhill as often as you can.

Dont forget the rewind feature on PS5. You could use it everytime you did sub-optimal movement on the harder lvls. I did Stealthy Approach with 0.7 remaining. After I startet using rewind "High Class Heist" was the only lvl I needed this vid for.

I don’t get the point of these Master Thief Sprints. All it unlocked was behind the scenes video that most people like me didn’t even care about. At least the clue bottle and vault content did unlock new moves and a secret ending where Sly fully restored the Thievius Raccoonus to its original state and he became a Master Thief with the new moves his ancestors taught him. Although I don’t know what we’re the Pages Clockwerk stole from the Thievius Raccoonus.

You should care about it - behind the scenes stuff is fascinating. The thought process behind particular designs, level layouts, etc gets shown off a bit. And the commentary track added to each level is a big bonus. I only wish there was more of it for this series. Would've loved to have been able to see more concept art before they nailed down Sly's design.
