I agree . But Sanzu , being only interested in forcing " Sonic Boom " sewage down our throats , will never give us closer . As I said , I HATE SONIC ! BRUH I grew up on that. My sister and I would be our brother to let us play it. Ms. Ruby was our favorite, we use to try to dance along with sly and mimicked her voice

I still never understood why Carmelita kept getting different voices through the 4 main games, but her voice in Sly 2 and Grey Delisle are my favorites in the series. Grey being number one because she actually brought out Carmelitas hispanic accent considering Carmelita herself is hispanic.

***** well, I was mostly joking anyways. and if you mean the public in game universe, then hell yeah. but then so was DB Cooper (some think Sly was mildly based on him in ways) and he is seen as an icon who "stuck it to the man" even though what he did IS a federal crime. but sly is an honourable thief. he steals only from other criminals. no honour, no challenge and no fun in stealing from ordinary people as he once said. well, unless you count the cookie jar Ms. Puffin had stashed away back at the orphanage.

109 - Not only was the movie canceled BUT they also announced a TV that they then canceled.

Fact number 108: In an episode of the Second Funniest Podcast, Sly Cooper and the Gang robbed a KFC. They were after the secret 11 herbs and spices and it was Murray's job to grab the sack with his warm hands.

Fact 108: There was a drawing contest for Sly 2: Band of Thieves where contestants would draw a new character for the game and give them a back story. But to this day; no one knows who won or if anyone won that contest. I know cause I entered it. Though its been a while and I don't remember what magazine or web site held the contest.

VTNVIVI you are AMAZING!!!! I watch all of your videos about Sly Cooper, Kingdom Hearts, Rachet and Clank, ect.

If Sly Cooper 5 was to be developed I believe the story would focus on getting Sly Cooper home since he's stuck in ancient Egypt and his friends (Bentley, Murray, Dimitri and his love interest Carmelita Fox) need to find a way to locate him and bring him home. The option I can think of is have separate missions where Sly must leave clues on historical artifacts from ancient Egypt so his friends in the present would have an idea where in the time period their Ring Tail (I love the nickname Carmelita gave him) could be located and they must gather them. But some of them are either in the possession of criminals (new or from the previous games) or are looking for them, while some have yet to be found resulting in a race against time. Also can we have Grey Griffin reprise her role as Inspector Carmelita Fox?

I’ve always felt that a plot point of sly 5 would be Penelope becoming clockwerk. She has time travel. Hates the coopers. And is smart enough to make the tech. Plus if Neyla is capable of merging with the body in sly 2 then I don’t see why Penelope couldn’t be. She’s a mouse too. The prey of an owl. Plus they never mentioned Clockwerk to her as far as we know. When you fight clockwerk in the first game, he says “I am… flower…” which is what’s on her outfit. Idk. I just think it would bring everything full circle if she becomes clockwerk while sly starts his family legacy. Maybe even give him a chance to say bye to his parents.

Sly is the best raccoon ever! I hope he gets more games soon

#108: Due to Ratchet and Clank bombing at the box office, the Sly Cooper movie is currently in development hell with no clear release date for 2017, 18, or beyond. It was meant to be released alongside it in 2016, but having the same director be attached to both films can be seen as a complication. Thanks to the money Rainmaker Entertainment lost from Ratchet and Clank, the budget and whether the film will be finished or not remain a mystery.

Sucker Punch Studios are the only game developers that have never made a single bad game. Their track record is legendary.

I miss this franchise, I hope Sucker Punch makes game 5. 3 and 4 were ok. 2 was my favorite. These games were my childhood.

eh your free to your opinion. I found the fourth game to be kinda garbage. The villains (Well most of em) looked like they we're made last minute. (Mostly The Grizz and that freakin Elephant lady don't really care enough to remember) Then you have Penelope being made into a last minute villain which was just sad and not thought out at all. Carmelita and Sly's constant jealousy and bickering was even poorly done. And these are just minor problems.

It is said there is going to be a Sly Cooper cartoon instead since the movie was scrapped. It has been a dream for this happen. I hope it follows the origins and explains how the team got Sly back to the present (Samurai Jack reference?)

One thing that wasn't mentioned was that in Sly 1 when you finish repairing the Thieveus Racoonus, you actually unlock a special cutscene of sorts that is the "escape from police hq" cutscene but in an anime style rather than a comic book style, which I assume was just what the Japanese port looked like.

The best thing sly ever stole was the love and hearts of those who are now his fans

It was during this period of my obsession with sly that i met my friend with the last name Cope, his nickname is now Cooper, after sly. This series holds a special place in my heart

When Bently said "last time I was in these sewers" he was referring to Sly Cooper 2 when he and Sly were doing a mission

I still play this game all the time, it never gets old the challenges in the game only get better as you play it, it's such a wonderful game and it's my favorite

Sly NEEDS more recognition. Just saying.

Sly 2 is my favorite game of all time. but I think that the sly series is VERY underrated.

In InFamous Second Son, Delsin (the main character) has the Sly 4 theme song as he's phone ringtone.

Sly is my favorite game series of all time, and this was an amazing video. But I'm surprised you didn't include a fact about getting 100% on sly 4 teased a fifth game with an Egyptian looking level in a cinematic

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Sly Copper games! I grew up with the PS2 and Sly Copper games were my all time fav! Not so sure about the Thieves in Time one tho. It doesn't look like it lives up to the name, as games usually made by a different company than the rest of the original games end up doing.

If it ain't Sucker Punch, it ain't Sly.

Oh, this was my childhood favorite. Though the part with the prisons and the Hypno spider lady kidnaping your buddies always spooked me as a kid.
