Exactly! I try to describe how I feel about Slug and his music and I feel wrong using "Idol," and "Hero", because he's like a good friend, the kind you can not talk to in 8 years and still know they're going to understand all your faults, and know your problems. This dude saved my life, I just wanna shake his hand, fuck an autograph.

Slug is very talented

No matter how many times I watch this, it never fails to run a chill up my spine and bring a tear to my eye.

One of the best storytellers in all of music.

Its amazing how he just tells a story and allows you to be taken away, Notice he's the only hip-hop artist who can actually and properly carry a note while singing. That right there shows how talented he is.

Whoever came up with the idea of playing the song like this is a genius. Much better than the record. That's also beacuse Slugs performances are the best. He gives every track something special when he performs live. In my opinion the live shows are better than the records. That's how good he is.

We need a new one, for stuff like this, because when I say "rap" or "hip hop" i always have to explain the difference from what most people think, and what this kind of music is.

This song still makes me tear up after listening to it over a decade because both my parents were the girl in the first verse while I was the kid in the second. This was an amazing era of Slugs career, as someone who jumped on board the Atmosphere train in 2002 it felt like a twist in style that hit the spot at the time.
