On 4-22-08, Atmosphere dropped "When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That S**t Gold", which included a special deluxe CD version. The deluxe version was packaged in a 40 page Embossed Hard Cover Book, which featured a Children’s Story written by Slug and illustrated by MK Larada. The deluxe version also contained a Bonus DVD, titled "Sad Clown Bad Dub 13", with over an hour of a live performance from Atmosphere that was recorded on their Everybody Loves A Clown Tour at the legendary First Avenue venue in Minneapolis, where they performed for two nights, on November, 9th and 10th, 2007. With the deluxe version no longer in print, we decided to finally upload Sad Clown Bad Dub 13 to our KZread page!

I love when all the music cuts and he just talks to you, the crowd. Then before you know it he is starting in on another song but like slowly saying it almost acapella

man, im only 29 and discovered atmosphere when I was 16/17. so I know im a younger fan, but I absolutely love this track, and his old school music. ive lately rediscovered all of his older tracks that I fell in love with. so inspiring and poetic
this performance made me cry

Knew a girl that Her brother younger actually died in a river and I just showed her that song not knowing that history and she literally broke down crying in front of me I had no idea about what happened to her brother was actually just kind of showing her the song about love that I fell for her! I guess what I’m saying is a slug is so artistic that his songs could touch you in so many ways no matter what you’re going through and he also gives me goosebumps as well
I can listen to this song over and over. Atmosphere has got to be my utmost favorite artists

Holy shit I don't think I've ever seen this live and I've seen the boys play like...a lot (lost count). I like how they were playing this while working on the more instrumental stuff that led into 'friends' and even 'family', shows they were looking forward.
