the dad part at the end is genius, You can already fill in the gaps with whoever you want but when he says dad at the end it shows you who he was talking about rather than who you were thinking about throughout the song.

There are very few rappers that sing about life experiences. Slug is a perfect example. He sings about his life and his mistakes while all the other rappers sing about weed money and, well, fir proper English, girls. I've only listened to atmosphere recently but I love slugs work. Keep it up!
