Slovakia PM Robert Fico in ‘life-threatening condition’ after shooting
Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico is in a life-threatening condition after being wounded in a shooting, according to his official Facebook page.
Fico was hit in the stomach after four shots were fired outside the House of Culture in the town of Handlova on Wednesday afternoon, Slovakian media reported. Police sealed off the scene.
The Slovak government office said in an emailed statement that Fico was being transported by helicopter to Banska Bystrica Hospital.
A suspect has been detained, according to the Dennik N news outlet and TA3, a Slovakian TV station.

It is still too far to make conclusions, but I believe you are not too far from the truth. An interesting episode happened during this very day, shortly before the incident. A delegation of American and British diplomats "visiting" our parliament and watching the discussion in the parliament from the balcony... What an interesting - and of course? - purely accidental event...
This is what happens with European Politician who stands with his people instead of USA.

I think he would be doing them a favor but he has a lot of haters and was involved in a lot of corruption scandals (including a murder of a journalist that was framing him) so I wouldnt be any surprised if the order comes from the inside

@@EBRoyJr Civil wars are difficult for other countries to help. The United Nations was not designed to deal with civil wars. There need to be a peace process initiated by the involved parties within the state before UN's Security Council can deploy a mission for peacekeeping. If they deploy a mission without any peace process in place, if oftens does nothing much and the peacekeepers involved just mainly becomes and observer while the fighting still goes on.
