Yes there are definitely shops at Slipway. There are local Tanzanian shops, hotel, cafes and restaurants. It’s a tourist destination for people visiting/relaxing for a day out. It’s not a typical shopping mall with international shops and restaurants chains. It’s a good place to get Tanzanian souvenirs.
