Same, never liked Nu Metal aside from some SOAD and Deftones,. i dont even like the first 2 Slipknot albums, but they got so good since The Subliminal Verses. Best band in this style of Metal, no doubt.

Other bands: Let's have our video on a plane, maybe have some girls dancing, maybe some expensive cars driving. Slipknot: Let's burn down a fucking farm.

But why do you compare pop music to this? It doesn't make sense. What, should I say that only Mayhem had real metal metal material for a LP cover, because they put picture of their dead singer after photographed right away after his suicide? It's stupid to make such a comparisons, just enjoy whatever you like but don't try to be snobbish or to degrade something you don't like. It's like someone would say that Slipknot is a basically pop band with it's production, Hollywood like music videos, general focus on image and nothing original in order not to challenge listeners. Never do it, because it's stupid and childish. You can enjoy your stuff without putting down, especially when it comes to entertainment.

Basically, I came to check the most popular Slipknot song because I have never gotten into this and I wanted to check what was happening in American Metal in 2000s. You see, despite it's not my music i'm not writing some egomaniac comments that some music is better than this, that's why I'm better and a person of culture.

A lot of y'all might have discovered this in different ways or places, but I heard this playing arma 3. There was this warlords match and we had a hummingbird pilot who would play slipknot into vehicle chat using his mic while skimming the ground around a meter from the tree line while being shot at by enemy players and NPCs, then proceed to j-hook right behind the enemy positions and quickly insert us and I gotta say, MAN that pilot had a killer taste in music

My neighbors love this song so much they all got together with their torches and pitchforks and set my house on fire, I'll bet they were trying to re-create this video, but they probably wanted to hear it better too, hence the house burning, let's just say they REALLY got into the spirit of things
