The masks were bought from Des Moines Theatrical Shop, they were just regular halloween masks. The suits they had done at a local sports shop that would print numbers and names on jersey's, but SK had them do the barcode, number, and tribal S, the actual jumpsuits were made by RedKap.

Wow. I am so surprised corey didn't blow out his voice. It is so raw and definately not using false chords. He is literally screaming and damaging his voice. That's probably why he changed his vocals because it literally was so much he couldn't do it that way anymore.

Yup, that’s the type of screaming that sounds the best though!! But like you said, it’s only a short lived thing. The vocal chords can’t take that kind of strain for more than a few years usually

From what I've seen, and what you've sourced in the comments, he does very good screams on those clips, but it's not the same pterodactyl scream that he does on the studio, which he perfectly replicated here.

@VovieV2000 It's nu metal, so it takes influences from pretty much everywhere. On the "Slipknot" and "Iowa" records they took inspiration from death metal/grindcore, and softer stuff like the old rap metal from the 90's. The singing style is called "growling", a version of the metal screaming technique used in death metal, amongst other genres. But otherwise it's screaming.

These guys knew they were slipknot before they were really slipknot. once they changed the vocals and drummer. They knew they found the formula.
