Older cars with open diffs were as capable as modern ones but all that needed is a momentum and here it is the ability of the driver to understand and manage the car properly, good car with a good driver 🚘😎👍

Very interesting video. The modern electronic "4wd" ( basically awd) systems seem to be very very capable. But old 4wd will never fail you. That is why the pickup trucks have the the traditional selectable 4wd system, with tc off course...If the lada had a rear lcd diff or tc it would have been a different story. Very well done for the video!

Świetny wybór samochodów! Szkoda, że nie było wariantu z trzema rolkami...ciekawe, czy Dacia dałaby radę wyciągnąć się tylko na jednym kole. Generalnie wyrazy uznania za całość pracy jaką wkładacie w ten kanał. Obecnie jest to już całkiem spora i co ważne obiektywna baza danych jeśli idzie o zachowanie się różnych typów napędów w różnych samochodach. Tak trzymać!

I own both the Duster 2 and an old Niva. My opinion is that with the lack of any electronics and only a mechanical center diff lock in the NIVA it's a weaker offroader compared with my Duster 2 and it's electronically simulated brake diff locks from side to side.

Нива хороша только с блоками, а так фигня а не машина, была у меня Нива 3х дверка с инжектором, не впечатлила совсем.

That would be interesting.

Нива разработана в 70ых годах 20го века и ее до сих пор сравнивают с современными автомобилями. Кстати говоря, для Нивы есть, очень дешевые по цене и установке, блокировки переднего и заднего дифференциалов. Плюс ходы подвески и геометрия кузова.

Говно всегда можно с мороженклй сравнить, это не показатель их близости. По видео видно что может 50 летнее ведро, плюса в котором только то, что затоталить не жалко или утопить

Niva's center lock is so good that if you just add rear lock it would have beaten all tests with ease.

i think for lada niva 1 wheel roller is enough without center lock

Ciekawe czy w Nivie zadziałałby polecany przez wielu trick z lekkim zaciąganiem ręcznego. W teście z tylnymi kołami na rolkach (zakładając, że Niva ma ręczny na tył, tego nie jestem pewien) na pewno by pomogło przenieść moment obrotowy na przód, ale ciekaw jestem czy kierowca jest w stanie wyciągnąć taki samochód z dwóch rolek, tyle że po jednej na każdej osi.

Próbowaliśmy tego w Mitsubishi Outlander i Toyocie Rav4 - nie pomogło.

Don't get me wrong but that channel is a bad joke. They don't know the difference between low and lock, they're doing ridiculous time measurements and lately their rollers are clearly broken - creating huge resistance, many cars do not spin the wheels at all there. And of course they are deleting my comments. PS. That's different Duster.

Lada niva has only good flexible suspension for offroad. It has bad 4wd system. Really good video 👍👍👍

Why it's bad? It's classic full time 4WD. You can buy after-market read diff lock and it will be very capable offroad car. Yes, it's very outdated, but it's another thing

@@A_Oryol i was driving it many times and yes it is good offroader because it has very good flexible suspension, but i don't like 4wd system and power distibution on the wheels. If you install it diff lock that's will be better. I also don't like that it has only 87hp it's not enough

@@myfavmitsubishi2599 it's not always about horse power. A jimny can easily beat a patrol or a pajero. Do you know why? Because of its weight. It is actually floating on the mud where a heavy tank would sink. BTW, a Samurai is even better.

@@mioiox Yeah right... Gone were the days when even passenger vehicles like Nissan's Pulsar (in the mid-80s) could be equipped with a "Triple Viscous" 4WD system ie. front/center/rear VLSDs. And even though subsequent FF-based ATTESA system has dropped the front LSD at least the center and rear LSDs were maintained......

Duster has less air in the weels. They dont have the same presure. And don't forget Lada project is very old . Duster is a 4wd by new generation.

Duster had flat front wheel. Therefore, he clung and drove out.

No, there was no flat wheel. Duster had traction control and that's why it passed the lateral and diagonal tests.

@@izmeni_psevdonim_dyra муфту на дастере перегреть нужно оочень постараться, посмотрите покатушки с нивами, и ни у кого за ролик она не перегрелась. Нива так же в горку не проезжает там же когда и грязь, ну не может она - ну факты вы видели в видео и полно роликов на ютубе - сток нива она ни какая. Тем более дастер универсалтный авто. А нива только как второй авто для покатушек.

It's not broken. That's how open differentials work. If there was different result in another test then rollers must have been broken. Or Lada was equipped with optional torsen differentials.

These are original wheels of each car. The difference how they sit in rollers is marginal.

У нивы есть 5 огромных плюса перед практически любым авто 1- большие хода подвески на несущем кузове в 3 раза больше дастера. 2- цена. 3- ремонтопригодность. 4- возможность ездить на пониженной постоянно на любой передаче. 5- огромный потенциал для доработок.

этот ТАЗ даже по ровному месту не едет🤣🤣 с его двигателем от моппеда

Странная межосевая блокировка на этой ниве. У меня на ниве блокировка была на перекресная . Блокировал заднее правое , и переднее левое . При одной одной из диагоналок она становилось беспомощьной.

Ну ты и шутник, межось на то межось что блокирует две р более осей, а межколесная блокировка естественно блокирует колеса на одной оси.

А на ниве с завода только межось блокируется, следовательно диагонали она не берет, как и показано на видео, но есть большое но, это хода подвески, у нивы они хорошие, из-за чего вывесить колесо более сложнее, тем самым колеса почти всегда в зацепе с поверхностью и машина едет. УАЗ тоже самое покажет на тесте, один в один. Он проиграет дастеру в этом искусственном тесте, а в лесу Дастер соснет.

Lada is junk in all aspects. Dacia is way better.
