    @@tjsguideservice I agree with the other commenters that bottom bouncing with livescope would be interesting. I’ve also started using and have some success on the drop shot. Would love to see your take on that. Thanks again.

    Sometimes on the slip bobber knot I also burn the ends of the slip bobber knots so they don't unravel.. just a suggestion but be careful 😉

    I really enjoy new water breakdowns. Part one: New lake analysis at home. I want to watch you read the topo map and identify what structure, depth, presentation (if you do and don't have Livescope) you're going to start with. Part Two: Going out on water and and working through your structure and how you react to water temp/vegetation/bottom composition. Changing strategies if you do and don't have Livescope.

    Good info! I’ve had better hook ups when I use the plain hooks that the eyelet faces forward instead of towards the back. Vmc makes some nice red ones. Awesome videos!!

    First I would get your distances down. That can only come with a ton for practice. Then I like to pick a point on shore I think the livescope is pointing to and try to intersect it at that fistance

    A bead works good above that swivel so the egg sinker doesn't wear on the braid knot.... Vmc make some tungsten weights also that are pretty popular too for a little more weight

    Love that insight, Patrick! I started doing that some as well and I like that little trick! That is another reason I use split shots as well. Doesn’t seem to wear quite as bad on the knot

    I kayak fish with no electronics do you recommend a weighted slip bobber or a slip bobber with no weight to determine the depth of the lake

    I still like a weighted slip bobber as you can still tell if your bait is on bottom. Just helps a little to get the bobber to sit upright.

    When I put my bobber stops on and cut the length I want, I'll take a Bic lighter to the ends to prevent any type of fraying.

    I use a 1 1/2 to 2 oz bottom bouncer with the Northland spinners with the little foam floats on them, super cool to see the fish chase them LIVE
