We are back with another spring walleye fishing video! In this video we are fishing a flowage lake for spring time walleyes. With the warmer than normal spring we are targeting some walleyes using slip bobbers and leeches. This is a killer pattern from now until mid summer. In this video we are using the NEW Kalins Sharpshooter slip bobbers and jig to catch walleye's on forward facing sonar. Thanks for watching!

I enjoy the vids where Mitchell is sharp with his comebacks to Toms wise cracks. My favorite Mitchell quote was the vid a couple years back when he renamed Tom " Tickle Tail Tommy". Love the 2 buddies in the boat ribbing each other at every opportunity! Keep up the great work guys!

Teaching my young children how to fish got me hooked on bobber fishing. I have since been working on perfecting the technique, trying to make it as safe, easy, and effective as possible so anyone can do it. I have been working on coming up with some systems as well and learning where I can. Thanks for the video and information!

Product development idea: some kind of slip bobber that has a twist-to-attach / twist-to-detach function so that you don't have to cut the entire rig off and re rig. Just twist, off goes the bobber, and you can rig whatever you want.

Have you ever noticed bite windows and what do you do in the slow bite period to catch fish? For example this has happened numeruous times where fishing is really tough then all of a sudden the light switch is flipped and the bite is on fire for an hr then dies off again. If I am moving spot to spot trying to pick off the one or two active fish then there is a chance ill miss that hot bite window. Im just curious what your thoughts are for this occasion.

Get the boat rdy, then back the boat in the water, get the rear of the boat in the water and pop the drotto lock and let the boat go, hit the button for the Ulterra and spot lock the boat out in the lake. Go park the truck and remote control the boat back, step in and take off. Take a seat, drop the big motor, hit the button for the Ulterra to stow, fire up the big motor and take off. 😊 so frickin awesome launching and landing my boat.

Hey Tom, I had to stop the video before you even got out of the boat..... I would call that too much of a "Power Unload" off Trailer..... If you've ever seen how they pour the concrete and then lay it in the water for us to launch our boats, it's a long and expensive process. We need to do better..... I scold the people who Power Load and Power Unload, and you KNOW better.... so maybe you need to do a public Service announcement condeeming Power Loading and Power Unloading..... let's not be lazy and just get the tires wet and get the trailer down in the water a bit more... Thank You

18 minutes into the video, 11 "Mitchells". Then you acknowledge the fact that some people prefer videos where you don't refer to the cameraman once very 90 seconds. This used to be the Tom Boley channel, where he would sometimes bring his awesome girlfriend. Now, it's some guy and "Mitchell" go fishing...and no, that's not nearly as entertaining. For all intents and purposes, the cameramen should not exist, to the viewer of a video...that is how professional cameramen operate. You seem to think your videos used to be terrible when, in fact, the overall quality of content has declined since you started making the vidoes for "Mitchell", instead of the "viewer". Final "Mitchell" count - 16, proving even you get sick of hearing it.

We definitely ain't professionals. Just a couple buddies in the boat filming a subpar fishing show. Sometimes the videos are good sometimes they suck. Either way I'm having fun.

@@TomBoley - I'm just one viewer, but I tend to think I'm not the only one that isn't enjoying the content as much with you constantly referring to someone we can't see in the video. I mean, if the point of the videos is just for "you" to have fun, that's one thing. If you're trying to appeal to a broad audience, including discerning viewers who value true production quality from a high-level content creator, you really should consider going back to not saying the cameraman's name 16 freakin' times in a single video. You are the "talent" in your videos and it would be to your benefit to emphasize that; it's brand-building 101.

I'm just one viewer, but I'd have to think only one person that's watched this video has counted, or even paid attention to the number of times he said "Mitchell." I'm here to learn about tactics and watch a guy catch walleyes. Not critique on how many times he said the cameraman's name. I have to admit I never even noticed it. Some folks just gotta be a 🤡. Another great video, Tom!

I, (for one), really like the vibe of you and Mitchel out in the boat having fun fishing. If someone doesn't like it, they can go watch John Gillespie...
