Good Day TheWoodedBeardsman a Squirrel will climb your house like a tree ....... they will run down electrical lines as their personal freeway ........ they do not need a tree to get onto your roof ........ even if you seal all then vents on your roof you also need to go around the whole outside of your house to see any possible area they can get into because they can also get into the crawlspace of your home and do big damage there also

If you want to save the money from buying lead shot and you happen to have train tracks around you can find basically steel shot next to the train tracks that gets rolled off from the wheels. That's what we used hunting with slingshots when i was into that.

Valuable research and information Chris. I had a similar problem a few years ago and managed to eradicate the infestation by simply filling every access point to my attic with expanded foam. After that, no more problems. You know I watched the video all the way to the end.
That Gallery trap would be perfect for a pellet rifle. If you havent had it before, try squirrel gravy over biscuits

No squirrels here in Australia but we have had a couple of possum's in the roof, council regulations require getting a professional to trap and release them unfortunately.
