Finally after hours of scouring the internet, I found a video comparing these three coolers!

Just putting this out there so others don't make the same mistake I did, but the combination of the SE-207-XT Slim, NCase M1 v6.1, and MSI B650I Edge does not work. The cooler does fit flush with the case, but it will block the internal power cable in both available positions.

You did it! I love taking a $50 heatsink and throwing in T30. Maybe 0.5-1.0 degrees difference but runs silent.

Re: Attaching a Phantek T30 with 25mm clips, I found a simple solution that avoids over stretching the clips. Use very small zip ties. Zip four of them to 5mm long loops, when flattened, clip off the extra then push them into the top screw holes. The heads will stop at the holes. The loops, extending 5mm down, making perfect attachment points for those 25mm clips. They even look good, almost like screw heads.

I just went with the DeepCool Ak400 Zero Dark+.....i was sweating bullets when i finally closed it all up but it all fit in the NR200. Very impressed with this case & my first build too!

I purchased the Thermalright Silver Soul 135 since it's the biggest cooler that I can fit in my current case (a Thermaltake Core V1). The price-to-performance ratio of this thing is insane! It didn't just put the AMD Wraith Stealth stock cooler to shame, it tarred and feathered it and paraded it around the town square! Kept my 5700G around the 55-60C level even at full load for an hour or two. Granted, my tests aren't scientific (just a couple of resource-intensive PC games) and the cooler is overkill for the type of processor I want to keep cool, but I'm beyond happy with the performance of this thing. It helps that the cooler is low enough that it'll fit into an NR200 with ease.

Just for the interest of information, SE-207-XT Slim does fit in my TT Core V1. Works well for my R5 5500.

Thank you very much for this comparison. 135mm is also the cooler height limit for the soon to be released Lazer 3D LZX-10 PC case.

Just for reference the newer 154mm tall "Advanced" version of this is $54 here in SEA region. I've seen an international seller(located in Malaysia) list this for $71 but it should be lower for local retailers.

I'm considering this cooler for an NR200P build using the 7700X. It seems like it's the biggest cooler that fits using AM5 and the TG panel. Would you consider it to be the best option? What I find strange is that I can't find any builds using AM5 with the NR200P, am I not seeing something?

Surprised to see that NH-D12L underperforms a bit given the circumstances. Disappointing. Was considering it for my NR200P as I love Noctua products. Now I’m not sure. It’s too expensive for what it offers.

Can you test the DeepCool AG620? I'm interested in using it if I end up buying an NR200P but it's 157mm so I'm not sure if any motherboard would fit it

It wouldn't fit if you want to use a glass panel. I've tried the deepcool neptwin 2 in my nr200p, but it is too tall even for mesh... Now I'm using the scythe fuma rev.b which is 149mm tall with a glass panel and it fits perfect)

It will fit ,youll have to take the plastic covers off the top of the rads in order for the side panel to be in place .

Thinking of doing an nr200 p build , is this better than the scythe fuma 2 rev b ? Thoughts ? Help ? Thank you 🙏

how is the ID Cooling vs Mugen 5? i have a 5800x with Mugen 5 and it is still throttling at 90c when I run benchmarks.

The sound needs a little bit louder, else is fine :)

I think 5800x & 5800x3d has to use cooling water cooler. However, only for enjoying games, thermalright and this one would be okay.

A little late but maybe someone still wants to know: my 5800X3D in a Ncase M1 is beging cooled by the ID Cooling SE 207 XT SLIM and it's great. 82 degrees maximum

@@MikeMJB No undervolt, no overclock and just regular settings in BIOS. DOCP/XMP for memory is 3600mhz is the only change I did. Temp is great

12400 or 5600 without x, 5700x if you want 8 cores. But wait about a month for new chips like 13400 (maybe no launch this year but Raptor Lake announcement ) and 7600x. Prices will drop for older chips

@@matija2348 Fuma 2, Vetroo V5, 212 Evo. Check this channel it has a lot of NR200P air coolers tested. 5600x barely worth the premium. At 150 bucks the 5600 is a no brainer and can be overclocked.

You can, fit is completely dependent on your RAM height though, and you’d be looking more at 150mm with low profile kits.

I saw this selling for around the same price as SE 226 xt. Do you recommend getting this instead of the 226??

I dont think comparing cooling performance at fixed rpm makes sense. The Noctua is so expensive because it delivers lower noise levels at higher rpm. I dont mind 2 extra degrees as long as its under 90. There is no need to improve performance. But with small cases every descibel counts.

Is this enough for a 13600k?

I stand corrected, my cpu 13600k was fighting for its life with the 13600k. I now have the pa120se and 7800x3d With nonissues

I have the se224xt currently in my sama im01 case is it worth upgrading to this or the advanced version?

D12L is too overpriced and ugly. Thermalright 135 + higher RPM fan is the superior choice here.
