Brilliant. It brings happy memories of hope and naivete before cynicism took hold. Thanks Ronnie, Gallagher and Lyle. Much love ❤ ❤❤

It's stuff like this that makes You Tube so worthwhile. I'd seen the Ronnie stuff from this gig before, but not this song by Gallagher & Lyle (one of my favourite G&L songs too) so many thanks for posting this. I saw Ronnie Lane & Slim Chance a few times - one of my favourite bands ever. Great memories. A sadly missed genius. Thanks again.

Love to listen to this once a week or more. Here are the lyrics which are beautiful to me: When I need somebody That I can talk to Nobody really makes it Like you do I think you can be certain After all this time I consider you A friend of mine I believe in you You take the time to make me smile I believe in you When nothing else seems worthwhile Oh, I don't know what you do But I believe in you When I get down bluesy And I can't pull through I know I can rely on you When I'm feeling high You seem to be there too You're always there to meet me No matter what I do I believe in you You take the time to make my day I believe in you You take the time to make it pay Oh, I don't know what you do But I believe in you I believe in you You take the time to make me smile I believe in you When nothing else seems worthwhile Oh, I don't know what you do But I believe in you Source: Musixmatch Songwriters: Benny Gallagher / Graham Hamilton Lyle I Believe In You lyrics © Imagem Songs Ltd., Goodsingle Ltd., Apple Music Publishing

This song was written by Benny Gallagher and Graham Lyle. The singer is Lyle. They released this song "I Believe in You" on their 1973 LP "Seeds". Gallaghet and Lyle are the guests. The song is on Spotify on Gallagher and Lyle's compilation on their "The Best of Gallagher & Lyle". Hope this helps
