Loli Buster agreed. And its the reason I wanted to see Slenderman kill those assholes. And we get nothing. Just lights turning off and screaming. And when it looked like slenderman was on screen, it was a guy in a costume. I have never felt so insulted by a movie, even a mockumentary.

There was no reason for it, all the movie is just them not knowing what to do and preparing for something only to quickly jump to another idea, the closest thing we get to Slenderman is when one of their friends dresses up as him for the prank, and the fact that the movie ends so abruptly it just shows the people who made this film did not know what to do for a Slenderman movie

The kitten guy and hot dog lady sound like interesting people.

At least the OTHER slenderman movie "He always watches" HAD Slenderman and it had a PAY-OFF! At the near end of this movie, I wanted everyone in the movie to just die.

I rather listen to more of his trolley stories than the rest of this film honestly, that shit was entertaining.

I think the reason they didn't use Slenderman's name it's because solely the name it's copyrighted. It could explain why (as far as I'm aware) the internet series like TribeTwelve never referr to Slenderman specifically as such. They even go as far as trying to avoid saying his name.

There was a fanfiction I started a couple years ago, and even attempted to rewrite, where Slender for some reason lives in a casino hotel room for some reason and 'haunts' who ever uses the room. I can admit the idea is no longer really appalling to me and I didn't think of a reason why he'd choose a Casino hotel room until I decided to attempt a rewrite. The idea was a special tree in the forest he originally lives in was cut down and used to help make the hotel room. So he's bound to that casino though he can wonder the whole thing rather than be stuck in the room itself. It wasn't until later I decided this as well as he tries to get the people who rent the room to destroy/burn it so he could be free to leave. I do have chapters 1-3 in my DevantArt account and my rewrite attempts (which are basically just fixed grammar and some fixed things) on my Fanfiction account. I got a little bored though so I never did get to rewriting chapter three or starting chapter 4 Also, while I am not apposed to Slenderman having tenticals (Spell check sucks) I like the Marble Hornets version of him instead -_-. There are just too many different lores involved with the original; some that are added on by fans. Like for god sakes isn't one of the things that Slender's victims are never seen again? Well how can they be impaled on trees if they are never seen again? Obviously they can seen that way, just dead. I prefer Slender being a complete mystery; with his motives being completely unknown and his victims truly disappearing; either they be still alive somewhere or dead; which is probably one someone suggested he eats them.

Uhh.. The whole "Slender Man impaling people on tree branches" thing WAS part of the lore created by Victor Surge, so are the tentacles. Please do your research next time.

Also, fun fact I didn't mention but the whole idea I had was based off of a dream that just developed into it's own thing. Slenderman haunting a hotel, bound to a hotel room and needing that hotel room destroyed so he could be free from that place

The one guy I wanted to see being killed off the most didn't even die in the end. The movie didn't even have that one redeeming bit.

Some informations about Slenderman for those who jst now stumble across this video: -Slenderman didn't originate from a video game or Creepy Pasta. He originated from a photograph online contest. -Slenderman and the Operator from Marble Hornets are not the same person/beeing -"Fun" fact: Did you knew that there was an actuall attempted murder case conected to Slenderman? The docu movie about it is rather interesting.

So,Slender the 8 pages exists in there world which sky rocketed Slenderman & he's suposely a tulpa,so did game cause him to exist?This feels to smart for the creators.

I know this comment is late, but if you are still interested into knowing the answer: No, Slenderman wasn't created by the game. He was created by a online photo contest

I think the original Slender 8 Pages game is better than people give it credit for. After all, it managed to make some tall white dude in a suit seem scary all with minimal blood, no gore that I can remember, and no drawn out death scenes. That's commendable in my book, as nowadays everything's always "ThIs Is ScurRy cause BLOOOOOOD!"

If it makes you feel any better, the one Doug Jones is in kind of wastes his talent. I liked the movie, but all he does is just stand there. It literally could have been any tall skinny guy.

I feel like at the end when the lady was turning into the slenderwoman thing, I feel like the collective were doing the same thing as Noah, In one of the Observer video things, Noah's eyes go blank and a liquid comes out of his mouth, I feel like they accidentally recreated it.. sort of.. I feel like the villain was secretly the Observer, And the woman that lost her kids was like Noah, When he lost Milo Asher, I feel like the only way to enjoy it is to lie to yourself, I feel like this movie wanted to be TribeTwelve but it was a colossal flop, And the only way to enjoy it is... I tried to watch this movie twice, and I fell asleep both times.

Its a shame this movie sucks because we genuinely need a movie like this. Like honestly id imagine just 3-4 guys recording in the woods, unrelated to anything and seeing Slender. Or 3-4 people that started a documentary after seeing slenderman. Or hell id even take like a mountain mystery group of people who just try to find crazy shit in the woods and happen to succeed this time. Slenderman is too good of a creepy-pasta to have no good film adaptations. Slender the arrival is a good video game so i say he deserves atleast one good movie to.

Marble hornets was the best slender Man, mostly beacuse it's not slender Man. The Operator came across as a symptom o a bizzare infection, first you get a cough, then slendy begins manifesting as the sickness wrecks local reality. Least that's how I interpreted it.

Zane Followell I hope so too considering that SCOTT CAWTHON, the creator of the games himself, is overseeing the entire production of it. Hopefully, he and Blumhouse can pull off this movie. It should probably even get a PG-13 rating.

About the whole "offical records" thing. It is surprisingly common, with fucky cases, to claim and make it offical that something other than reality happened. Though I doubt the movie makers thoguht of that here and simply fucked up.
