I remember a military buddy who fell asleep during a live fire exercise. He was driving an M2 Bradley, and when it was his time to move... nothing. The TC (vehicle commander) finally woke him up, and they got moving. His excuse was "I was meditating, Sergeant". We never let that euphamism go. I wasn't sleeping, i was meditating! Learned from the guru!

Most polls are done online and are biased. Look at the number of respondents and their demographics. As of 2022, there were 168 million registered voters. About 33% democrat, 27% republican, most of the rest unaffiliated. The most recent cnn poll was of 1212 people. That is ridiculous. There is no legitimate way to extrapolate that data to reflect tens of millions of people. You may as well take a poll of your neighbors.

Remember, the lie told by the soviets about the murder of thousands of Polish military officers in WW2 who claimed the germans were the murderers. It is now known the Soviets were the murderers, and in the Nuremberg War Trials the claim by the Soviets re these murders was presumed to be true and still is unchallenged as Nuremberg evidence.

They're appealing to simple folks who wouldn't find days and days of a trial engaging or entertaining enough to stay awake for. They're telling them, "See?! Trump is just like you! Vote for the one who is like you!" It's all a scam.

I watch Colbert, Meyers, and Kimmel clips on YT. It's really funny at the end when Seth says "don't just watch Kimmel clips"...Because that's what I'm probably doing.

Calvin, in one Calvin & Hobbes strip, cut a ping-pong ball in half, used a marker to put black dots where the pupils should be, and put them over his eyes so he could fall asleep in class. Unfortunately for him, he looked as though he'd drank five pots of coffee.

Absolutely not! If this was being televised, he wouldn’t be acting this way; the man *loves* showboating to an audience. If there were cameras, Trump would find a way to use them to distract from the actual facts of the case. His attorneys would no longer need try convince the jury, when instead they could create soundbites about this trial being a sham. And the media would repeat and amplify that message daily. not just the conservative networks, but also the “liberal media” who even after all these years cannot help but act like Trump’s team argues in good faith. And it would be ratings gold.
