Young dad here (2 year old and 2 month old) wishing that fatherhood was less "hanging in there" but that's honestly what it feels like 90% of the time. My toddler won't listen to me when I use a kinder "more patient" voice, and yelling at him both upsets him and exhausts me. Explaining to him why helps a little but have to do it over and over and over it's like what it tell him gets wiped out every 5-10min. Any advice or is it really just "hang in there" until their brain develops a better understanding of there are certain things I can't or shouldn't do?

You do realize Jesus was Jewish and his message was for other Jewish followers, not gentiles. You're not only using desert myth as your counter argument, but you're following another group's religion that wasn't meant for you. Also the term "messiah" means anointed king. It's a title that is given to rulers who helped the Jews. For example Alexander the great, cyrus the great, and king David

@Mark Todd Sorry I forgot this comment. I know what this argument is leading to. It's the "he asked his apostles to go to different nations" , no he didn't. The apostles weren't even looking for gentiles the gentiles came to them instead. They were fascinated by Jewish culture and god fearing this surprised the apostles like paul
@happymate8943

@Mark Todd 1: see just like said you brought up the cliche hearsay argument. Again apostles weren't looking for gentiles the gentiles came to them because they were curious of Judaism. 2: "final words" , from what I heard this was after his death? I called this hearsay because theres no written records of his life or him saying these things. 3: the old testament prophecies was more about the state of isreal than a messiah figure. The term "son of god" is a common title back then for those who had a special relationship with god for example Angels, pious men, king David, Solomon, and isreal itself. 4: there's a lot of things mondern Christian gentiles gotten wrong from the old testament and Judaism. For example the "war on heaven" is not a thing in the old text. Demons or Shedim (the correct term) are supposed to be decedents of the evil serpent that tricked adam and eve. Also the war in heaven could have been inspired by old pagan religions like norse or Greek mythology. The fallen angel concept could have come from the book of enoch when the watchers lusted after human women and even taught humans things that only Angels and god knows like makeup, weapons, etc.

@@happymate8943 I will end this discussion right here and now, any more words from Happy Mate will just be attempts at missinterpreting the actions of God; perhaps not on bad intention, but as St. Peter once said, talking about Paul. 2 Peter 3:16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction Let us refer back to Jesus's words on Luke 4:25-27: I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah’s time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land. 26 Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon. 27 And there were many in Israel with leprosy[a] in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed-only Naaman the Syrian.” Conclusion: For one to be worthy of salvation, it is not needed to be Jew, Gentile, Black, White, it is only needed to be just and humble above all else. Period.
I'm a newly confirmed catholic and listen to this while I'm studying. It's a nice way to keep Christ at the center of everything I do

I've started a nightly ritual - after my sons are asleep but before I go there myself, I drink a beer and I pray. I drink the beer to celebrate the end of a day and to help drift off to sleep. I pray in thanksgiving for the day I was given and in preparation for the day ahead, that I might wake to see it and be who God has called me to be in that day. This music helps me focus quite a bit in my nightly prayer. Thank you for all that you do, and may God continue to bless you.

8 ай бұрын
@@petal9547 Kyrie Eleison is the name of the prayer: it's greek and stands for "Lord, unchain us/set us free" (though the prayer is usually translated as Have Mercy on Us). It's a really old prayer, and several melodies have been created, the early ones are called gregorian chants. So they were written mostly by groups/anonimous monks, we can't pinpoint an author for most of them. Instead, the melodies are differentiated by use, meaning, the kind of Mass they were composed to. We have the Orbis Factor (for sundays most of the year), de Angelis, for II Class Solemnities, and it goes on. All of the chants contemplated hete that I could recognize come from the Requiem Mass, or Mass for the Dead, so I put this before the list in order not to reapeat it everytime; I think this is the easiest way to locate the chants when searching on the Internet, just adding requiem.

@@nickelbers48 congratulations!. I hope God bless your family.
Now isn't this something nice to see rather than a kid, a real guy with some age and ribbons of reality, just trying to figure it all out on his chair and all he has to do that is his thoughts and mind.
This looks just like my husband, who is a wonderful dad. Thanks for this beautiful content!
This is beyond great. This tired dad is moved to tears at this soul-lifting music.
I'm not a sleepy father, nor am I a parent, I'm just a regular Catholic girl who's just tryna do her homework. This playlist really calms me, since I love lofi and gregorian chants, Godbless everyone and have a blessed day, night or afternoon' ❤️

I hope your homework went well! Godbless you.
To all the dads, moms, aunts, uncles, and other parental figures: God bless you. You've got this. Our Lord and Our Lady will preserve you.
I study to this because it is so relaxing. It reminds me to revert my gaze to God.
To all the tired Dad’s out there…. God see’s you, He see’s your struggle, he knows your difficulties, he feels your burden and knows it through and through . But God loves you and he won’t let you fall. Remember to consecrate your family to the Blessed Virgin Mary, remember to pray the Litany of St Joseph. Tired souls… Jesus got you ❤️.

Thanks for that
The way this evokes the mundane and the divine together is splendid. It's like the Lofi is every day things and the Chant is transcendent worship, coming together to create a sense of praising God in the midst of daily life. Simply beautiful!
Wow - it was very touching reading the comments. Thank you for this beautiful music and all the wholesome comments.
Praise the Lord. Alleluia. AMEN. Ave Maria
Stuck across the world from the family for a bit. Thanks for the streams to help me chill and reset. Prayers for my wife and kiddos, holding down the fort until i can get home.
Father of 4 girls here, this is perfect :D
LORD BLESS 🙌 🙏
Oh how excited I am for this! May God bless all of us men with increasingly Godly wives, with wonderful children and enduring faith.
Thank you for this. At 37 I have a 2-year-old and a 3-month-old and I can definitely relate.
Maravillosa música. Saludos desde España, tierra de la Santísima Virgen María ¡Gloria a Dios!

Gregorian music is indeed wonderful. The lyrics are often verses taken straight from the Bible (especially Psalms), and thus can be admired by Christians of all stripes.

@@brotherjames1623 No, you're not. You're in a heretical church founded by a corrupt schismatic man that made a nun break her vows.
As a gregorian chant fan and an anime fan this is amazing please make more god Bless y'all : 3
Wowww definitely need more Gregorian lofi in my life lol this is so awesome
Tired mom who listened to the Rosary album during labor...nursing my 4 week old daughter listening to this after sending my husband to bed early. He has been working so hard to take the load off my shoulders during the day with our other 3. He needs more time with our Lord, just like this dad.
As a woman with the soul of a grumpy dad, thank you for this
I am going through a separation and have been praying but feel on the verge of a panic attack thank u for this
This is the greatest thing I've ever listened to
I'm a Christian and one of my sacred pathways (per author Gary Thomas) is loving God with the senses, so thank you Matt for creating this! I literally feel more in tune with God's presence right now. Amazing how God allows all of us to experience Him differently.
This music was the theme for my 2023... thank you. May our father in heaven bless the people behind this channel.
Sanctus starting at about 22:19 made me need to stop working and start praying. Amazing work guys!
My wife and I just had our first son, we’re in the process of adjusting our lives accordingly, she’s actually napping right now and I’m just here, relaxing with my son. Having this as background music truly helps. I love it.
Convinced Protestant here. I'm a new father working 2+ jobs. This really hits the late night work vibes and leads me directly into evening prayer. Thank you.

I will add that I have just enrolled in college again for my doctorate. This is my constant, late-night companion. Much appreciated.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places!”
Not a Catholic (Protestant here) but a tired Dad of a 3 year old and 1 year old. I'm also a teacher and coach so I serve as a father figure to young folks who don't have one. I love this mix! Perfect for reading on a stormy evening like this one. God made all you Dads (Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox alike) special and he loves y'all very much. Anyone wanna hug? I feel like some of y'all could use a hug!
Amazing! Making catholic culture available and attractive for the youth is a great work! I`ll keep yoou in my prayers. Stand strong and may God bless you, brother.
Lofi Gregorian chant is my new favorite thing in the world.
This picture shows me a side of my dad I didn't realize was possible even though I grew up in a Catholic home. I'm 34 now, and I strive to be like this, even though I am not a father myself.
Please make more of these! Not much comforts me more than feeling such a deep, spiritual self reflection. This is ABSOLUTELY the cherry on top for doing so, and to boot, it creates a wonderful study atmosphere, should I need to study.
I'm a very sleepy dad trying to get some software written. This is just what I needed, thank you.
This is my favorite one so far. The chant is great and blends really well.
In Adoration, praying before our Lord for my parish Preist. May the Lord bless all of the spiritual fathers in our lives. Protect them and guide them and please, Holy Spirit, move in them to lead us, and the world to you my Lord God. To repentance, to peace, to You who are all love and fulfillment. Amen

Just noticed how the candles move with the sigh, awesome attention to detail!!!!
Thank you for making dads real and seen. This helps make me feel like somehow our culture can start to turn around and heal.
I put this on for my students....relaxes them...never had a complaint
I'm not a dad yet but I hope I'll be blessed with them in the future. I'm a PhD student at the moment and it's difficult. I put my faith in the Lord because I know without Him I would fail. I hope I can pass my studies so that it may prepare me for my future ministry. Thank you Lord.
