I promise you my neighbor, if you have our father Jesus Christ near to your heart, nothing, and no demon, can ever touch your life successfully. You say you love jesus, do you love him enough to not hurt yourself ? Because I'm pretty sure I can say that he does not want that for you. I have suffered with severe depression my entire life and I am 47 years old. It wasn't until I finally just gave those issues to my good Lord that I was able to find peace in the troubles of today. I pray the same for you my friend.

Como hispana tradicional me eduqué en el catolicismo y amo esta música, sobre todo para meditar o estar tranquila, pero me sorprende ver que la mayoría de comentarios aquí están en inglés y me sorprende más la demostración de fe que veo en ellos. Me sorprende porque crecí con el ¿"prejuicio"? De que los angloparlantes eran poco creyentes. Pero esto me muestra todo lo contrario. Gracias por esa demostración de fé, esa creencia en el amor de Dios, y esas peticiones y deseos de bendición tan bellos. In past I was operated with Lung Cancer and I thought I am going to die, what I did I was crying for 🙏 prayer of mercy to our God, so before went for operation I asked the blessings from our local priest before our church wedding. Then afterwards I was asked by the specialist to followed up on my local Hospital and I was cured. My Lung cancer was cured. I was very thankfully for the graceful to the surgeon and the staff . Thanks goodness for Gods Gracious 🙏 amen.

Grew up in the 60’s, attended Catholic Elementary School. As School children we learned the Latin Music for the Requiem Masses & were dismissed from class to walk over to the church for any funerals. We loved doing that because even as very young children we thought the music was so beautiful. Really miss those days. 😢

If you want to hear more beautiful chant and sacred liturgies take a look at the website of the Canons Regular of St John Cantius. They are still streaming Sunday mass from their parish in Chicago. I and my whole family have joined in the singing of these hymns when we were invited to be with the monks in their early morning and evening prayers in the monastery church. It was the time when my son entered as postulant in this monastery of the Benedictines. It is a heavenly experience. The place is so peaceful and full of natures beauty. I'm Praying for my sons success in these call to serve God the almighty.

Hi Sara, I pray for your healing! God definitely heals... I still didn't finish my journey but doctors said the chemo wouldn't work as expected but we should still try. I prayed to God and guess what? The tumor was gone before even I completed the chemo routine. Doctors were also surprised but pleased:) I think exactly like you. I was distant to God before. With this illness, God pulled me closer and saved me from even greater sorrows. I am grateful for everything God has given. God bless you.

If you are aware that your Baptism is sacramentally Catholic then you are not aware you are Catholic. This is funny because those protestants sacramentally baptized in Catholic Rite are nominally Catholic. If the baptizer used the correct rite then one is Catholic with out knowing it.

I'm listening to all these while studying Theology. It helps me focus and concentrate on the work rather than let my ADHD addled brain run marathons on unrelated matters. This is wonderful music, truly. Remeniscent of the Angelic quoire that constantly praise our Lord in heaven. Our lord be praised that he gave us the gift of song. Hallelujah.

I can vividly remember when I was young I had went to church and got to witness a choir doing Georgian chants. It was the most beautiful and captivating thing. May god bless all, and may those who seek him find love and happiness. Amen

I was in a dark place, I felt so low, and I was like this for along time, then one day I decided after praying, I would leave my troubles of the past with the angels and saints and move on and not worry about them anymore as that is what they are angels and saints for, and I always pray to the lord God jesus Christ and thank hail Mary and the angels and saints for all there wonderful hard work that they do🙏

This battle is not ours , it is the Lord’s. Whatever your battle is, the Lord will fight for you if you let him.

Amen, Amen🙏🏻 After 40yrs, by happenstance, wandered into Mass as the priest sang those words. Dropping me to my knees as I walked. I have no words to describe the Eternal✝️❤️

That’s a music so inspiring , i just want to worship the Lord on my knees 🙏

This is what Vatican II wanted to encourage. Instead, over half a century later, I go to a parish church in the UK and hear the noise of guitars and songs in a 'country and western' style. The priest himself even tries to join in and, before Mass has ended, sits in his vestments playing a guitar and singing his own composition in a similar style. There is a deep-seated vulgarity at the heart of Catholic worship, and I don't see much hope for the Faith until worship begins to glorify God rather than the priest and other performers - for that is all they are in many places today.

the first four chants of the video are the ordinaries (kyrie, gloria, sanctus, and agnus dei) from mass ix. .... the next two chants are the ordinaries (kyrie, gloria) from mass xi. .... next is Credo 1... and that's as far as I've gotten in the video.
