I usually sleep with one arm bent weirdly under my head/neck/pillow with the other one twisted weirdly halfway under my body. I can see how sleeping without arms would definitely be more comfortable!

I sleep on my stomach with my hands beneath the pillows, and if my arm falls asleep, I have to dangle it over the side of my bed to let the blood rush back down to my fingers.

It's a totally valid question to have about how do people with 2 arms sleep. I have got a new mattress recently that allows me to sleep on my side but before then I had a fairly firm mattress and my secret was that I would sleep in an armbinder. My shoulders are flexible and I'm able to pull my shoulders back so I sleep on my side rather than my arm. It honestly looks really cosy to sleep without arms and it's definitely something that I have envy over. As for waking up with pyjamas back to front and inside out, I can recommend sleeping in leotards. There's no baggy material getting caught under you when you roll over and it stays in place.

@Sandra-Costa Fair enough. But I do go to the toilet before bed which negates the need to go while in a leotard. You would of course know better I just can't help but think that armless in a leotard would be peak comfort for sleeping even with bathroom issues

I hug a pillow. My daughter wakes up with her shirt on backwards or bunched around her neck, kicking off the covers, and rolls around usually found sleeping on her belly with her legs tucked under. Similar lack of arms. She also can't stand temperatures over 70 degrees. I have heard armless people tend to over heat easily. At least that's the case with my daughter and one other friend.

An inspiration for sure. some of the how do you do things I don’t understand. I understand questions like how do you tie your shoes or do you just use slip on’s. My wife is a little person I’m not and we always get stares and looks and it get old. Some questions must get old to her.

I've never really thought about it before but yes, arms are actually kind of a pain to sleep with lol. At least when compared to all my other body parts, they are like the rogue elements at rest.

I normally sleep in a fetal position. My arms are normally up towards my upper body and possibly even my hand near my face. Hard to describe though really if you're always asleep.

i usually put on arm under my pillow and the other hugging my blanket to me. Sometimes i sleep on my back with either my arms above me or just to my side.

I spent 8 years on a submarine, it can be difficult , good thing we only get to sleep 3-4 hours a day :)

I don't understand why people complain about having arms yes sometimes it is complicated to figure out where you want to put them but at the end of the the day I think it will be hard for me to live and sleep without arms just because my arms are the number one thing that helps me fall asleep the fastest

You're right arms are very much in the way for sleep except sometimes on stomach with one under pillow to prop it up. Your way seems better. Also my arms and hands fall asleep constantly I have horrible circulation its so painful

You're right about this. When you're in a couple, and you both have arms, if you try to cuddle and sleep, at least one of the four arms is totally uncomfortable and in the way. More than once we've wished for detachable arms. This is one area where you might actually be lucky to be armless. My secret, for sleeping _with_ arms??? PILLS PILLS PILLS they pry open your mind with fingers and ARE YOU SAYING YER BETTER THAN ME?!?

Ugh yeah my arms get so numb and it interrupts my sleep. I’ve been sleeping on my stomach for the past few years and one arm over my head and the other straight down. It’s so uncomfortable but if I lay on my side they get numb faster

hugging a body pillow is the best solution I've found yet. Honestly I wake up sore almost every day because my shoulder likes to subluxate when I lay on it
