Sleeping Rough After His Mother and Brother Died on the Same Day

Mark’s mother and brother died on the same day. He was able to keep the house for nine months but eventually ended up homeless after being evicted. Mark has been sleeping rough in Manchester, England now for three years!
Mark tried to beg enough money every day to get into a homeless hostel. Here in the United Kingdom, hostels are similar to homeless shelters in the United States. Some are better than others. Some provide services. But just like homeless shelters in the U.S., hostels are not a solution to ending homelessness.
Mark shares that it is freezing cold at night sleeping rough outside. He has to get up early every morning to walk around to get some body heat going. It rained really hard last night. Mark stayed dry sleeping under an awning in a doorway in front of a shop.
For his three wishes, Mark said it's not too much to ask for to put a roof over his head. He repeated that statement a few times. Every person no matter where they live should have a roof over their head and a place to call home.

About Invisible People:
Since its launch in November 2008, Invisible People has leveraged the power of video and the massive reach of social media to share the compelling, gritty, and unfiltered stories of homeless people from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. The vlog (video blog) gets up close and personal with veterans, mothers, children, layoff victims and others who have been forced onto the streets by a variety of circumstances. Each week, they’re on InvisiblePeople.tv, and high traffic sites such as KZread, Twitter and Facebook, proving to a global audience that while they may often be ignored, they are far from invisible.
Invisible People goes beyond the rhetoric, statistics, political debates, and limitations of social services to examine poverty in America via a medium that audiences of all ages can understand, and can’t ignore. The vlog puts into context one of our nation’s most troubling and prevalent issues through personal stories captured by the lens of Mark Horvath - its founder - and brings into focus the pain, hardship and hopelessness that millions face each day. One story at a time, videos posted on InvisiblePeople.tv shatter the stereotypes of America’s homeless, force shifts in perception and deliver a call to action that is being answered by national brands, nonprofit organizations and everyday citizens now committed to opening their eyes and their hearts to those too often forgotten.
Invisible People is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the way we think about people experiencing homelessness.

Because he's a single man, and he's not classed as a vulnerable adult, they will evict him and give his council house to a family, these days invariably to an immigrant family living off the welfare state. Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you-unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He was seen by [a]Cephas, then by the twelve. 6 After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have [b]fallen asleep. 7 After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. 8 Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time. 9 For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 11 Therefore, whether it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed. 1 corinthians 15:1-11 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a [a]mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed- 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55 “O[b] Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 corinthians 15:50-58

Well technically this man's story states that the introduction of the bedroom tax made him homeless, which was introduced by David Cameron and George Osborne, who have a personal net worth of £40 million and £4 million respectively. It's not surprising these men cannot relate to those who are struggling most in society, both were born millionaires, had the Eton education to open all the usual doors for such people and made more money from there.
