WOW!!! Watching huge wagons/Suburbans blowing down the track like this, brings back warm fuzzy memories of my first car.... a 1973 Dodge Polara Custom Station Wagon/Police package with a cop spec 440 that I built into a 499 stroker. WAAAYYY faster than anyone ever expected it to be. ( 11.80 @ 126 m.p.h. best time... all motor, no power adders... and this was back in 86 lol) It had a nickname too....it was "The Green Manalishi" ( from the Judas Priest song ). It was such a blast to blow the doors off of Chevelles, Camaros, Mustangs...etc with a big giant Brady Bunch Wagon. Sleepers are the best fun you can have!!! Great video, cool truck(s) lots of fun...thoroughly enjoyed this one!

I love my Suburbans! I have an '83 diesel and an '87 with a 350 that I just swapped a Holley Sniper kit on. These trucks are so much fun. Also this had such a cool story behind it. Reminds me of when I bought my Suburban and the column shifter reminded me of growing up and seeing my dad shift his Texas edition Silverado and there was a kind of feeling with me doing that in my truck.

This guy gets the sleeper of the year award.
