SLCs iconic East High School damaged by flooding

A famous Salt Lake City high school gym was damaged by flash flooding with two inches of rain fell Sunday night.
Under the threat of even more rain, East High School maintenance staff filled sand bags around the gym Monday morning.
“That water will just flow wherever it can,” said Salt Lake City School District spokesperson Jason Olsen.
Heavy rain water rushed down 800 South, pooling outside the gym doors Sunday night. Pictures show the water level half-way up the doors. The water seeped inside before spreading across the wooden floor.

Everyone is blaming each other for sticking to the status quo, but aren’t we all in this together?

Well short answer yes. Longer answer no. Consumer and ordinary people get this. Then you have lobbyist try to let the politicians pass laws so they get around the rules and recommendations easier. In the reality Is that the manufacturer has a big responsibility on how things are made and how the environment is impacted, so if they would follow the standard guidelines without constant regarding the less possibility for growth if they have to do the right thing. But after they would follow the right ways, then the consumer would much easier be able to do so much more, and that is how we change things to help the planet heal and get better

They never fixed the problem from the last flood. French drains are useless. Also the pitch of the road was suppose to be fixed but budgets are tight and memories are short.
