+Thomas Türling He's basically the opposite of Kerry...I love all the guys in Slayer, but Kerry often proves himself to be a douche. Tom is about as genuine and full of integrity as you get, you NEVER see him acting like he thinks he's hot shit like Kerry almost always does. I know if I were given the choice of which one of them I would be lucky enough to hang out with, I know what my answer would be.

Dave G WOW! That would be so cool! He's always seemed to me like the kind of guy you could hang out with...kind of like Lemmy. I never thought about how they're both very similar figures until just now...both are some seriously fearsome looking dudes that know how to really play the FUCKIN' bass as well as being singers/front men in the most loud aggressive bands ever, yet they are two of the most approachable, funny, just downright coolest dudes on the planet...and remember, Lemmy does still exist in some form on the planet even if it's just ashes and music.

Tom is a good person and a Christian. He's actually Catholic, and his father was a deacon. The music/lyrics are art and should not be taken literally . They do often give a perspective about real life people and situations, but they obviously don't reflect who Tom (or Kerry, or Jeff) is as a person in real life.
