Another like minded person, people always tell me all your I know at all, or you want a whole novel, it's hard being smart, and it's hard being factual when it comes to actual history, and I say, American history, not just my Native American history or my African American history. All that went down from the year 1492, until now is American history. I'm glad that you value learning, and you like to read, because reading is how we get our IQs up. This is what separates us from the other animals, good job, keep up the good work. I'll talk about this all the time, let Google be your friend, every question you may have go after Google learn something. 😁

i like it that someone is provoked to deeper level thinking and connecting the funny to the historical, its one of the reasons comics should be able to say what they want-short of threatening with any type of violence to someone I believe. Also, on that line, it is true that natives were enslaved by the thousands and it is never talked about. The new diseases did a number on them, true, but the cruelty and introduction of barabaric European customs also messed up the system because the Native American was not used to all the sudden traumatic change. Africans had been in contact with Europeans and others for centuries before slavery and many came already Catholic or Muslim to America. My people-Africans- lived so long under slavery not just because we didn't revolt-we did, hundreds if not thousands of times both at the slave ports in Africa and in all the Americas with some success in South America. The problem was that we didn't know the land and because we hadn't had ancestors buried there we weren't connected to the land for a long time. Now I believe we are. Natives could fight and then run because their relatives were in the woods or at least they knew the woods, its plants and animals, spiritual technologies, etc. We did not have the same advantages as natives but we were cursed to have immunity to most European diseases and some SOuth Americans because we were from the same latitude and we had traded with whites for so long and had intermarried even in Africa and so we had built a recognition of their diseases and knew how to treat them in ways the native didn't. Fascinating, complex and sad yet hopeful because THE RED MAN AND THE BLACK MAN ARE STILL HERE despite all efforts to the contrary, praise God!

As for my hard work I owe that to my mexican side!
