With the Abyss and therefore a chance to get a third Arcana really early, I wanted to give it another try. And boy did I try a ton, but there are so many waves on the Abyss that make it almost impossible to do this, because they take no knockback and just walk through the Bible. So I eventually gave up but now I was already in the King Bible mood, so I wanted to attempt to beat the Library.

As an offensive weapon, King Bible sucks. As a defensive weapon, King Bible is awesome. That was always my mantra with King Bible, it is fantastic at keeping you alive, but no so great at killing enemies.

Don't misunderstand me, I don't hate King Bible, it is a fine weapon, it is just that there are weapons that can deal a lot more damage than King Bible.

You are just taking the wrong Arcanas then. You can turn Garlic AND bible in DPS powerhouses.

I tried the mod to customize some options and see more information about the weapons, I liked it but it gives me errors so I removed it. Is there any stable version that generates error? The option to choose weapon upgrades with the "break limits" setting is very useful, hopefully they put something like that in the game.

I for one didn't play it once, since i don't have the time. Still i watched every video since the gold record runs, and Dex does exactly the things i would do, if i had the time. That's why i still watch his VS videos, it never gets boring with his self imposed challenges. It's kinda funny (or sad? I really don't qknow...) to think that i know more about VS than probably 99% of casual players, without ever playing it myself. I'm still amazed that i can watch the same game almost every day without it getting boring, despite all the variety. Just a good game, played by a really good content creator, i suppose. And to your question, the map doesn't make a lot of difference if you have Trousers with a lot of eggs. If you still want to know which map is the best, there's a video exactly for that, not long ago. And there are videos on how to earn the money to buy the eggs in the first place, in fact there are videos for almost everything on this channel. Just browse the VS playlist, you will find every question you can imagine answered there, and some answers to questions you probably can't imagine too. Edit: I don't know if Trousers is DLC. I know the game mechanics to the core, but not the game itself. If that makes sense...

@@dani.2479 I wasn't sure, if he were dlc, goldfarming is difficult. Because he gets greed with level ups, making him the best choice if you don't have access to Sammy(dlc). Your question is really hard to answer, it strongly depends on how many eggs you already have and to what content you have access to. If you have none, you have to start whith egging Pugnalla(she's the one with the guns right? And probably the best if you don't have queen Sigma). Then farm, egging her more untill a high amount after which xou start egging Trousers. With him you can farm up to about 5 to 10 million per hour. It's the best you can do without dlcs i think. I won't tell you how much gold Sammy can make though, i don't want to discourage you... That's all out of memory for a game i don't play, so take it with a grain of salt. And really, just use the youtube search for "dex goldfarm vs", he made lots of videos about goldfarming, for every stage from zero eggs to almost infinity. Try the older ones, where no new stages oc characters where added. Wait, wasn't queen Sigma also part of the original game? I don't know when which dlc added whom, it's been a while and since i don't play it, it doesn't matter all too much for me. And there where lots of updates too before which also added characters to the base game, so i really don't know. If she is in the original cast, there's a detailed 2 part goldfarming guide with her and trousers, look it up! The Trouser part is always necessary. If the Queen is dlc, you have to look for an older guide to replace her. Good luck on yor Goldfarm! But be warned, it will take a while. Dex once had the genius idea to farm as many golden eggs as viewers where willing to pay for on a stream, and grossly underestimated viewers will to see him suffer... He quickly had to reduce the amount of eggs he has to get for 1€ (i belive it were 50 at the start but again it's been a while. It were way too many eggs for the buck, that's for sure) and at one point he reached a truce with the viewers and they settled on 6969 eggs. From scratch. It took about 40 to 50 hours... But he used red death if i remember correctly. So you won't have it THAT bad! Edit: It were 100 eggs for 5$ at the start, and then 50 for 5. And he added the possibility to add or subtract eggs, it were about 9000 at a time. Which wouldn't be much difference anyway, since the last few thousand eggs were really fast.

With this weapon it is not convenient for you to have a larger area of effect, it is better to increase the speed or duration.

BoI almost never hinders or does nothing though, area always does something, even with bible getting further away. killing enemies at their spawn location accelerates your kill count since you dont have to wait for them to walk to your weapons. there's just not many arcana that does help, and even if they do, they're pretty insignificant. projectile speed and duration are 2 of the worst stats in the game, with how most weapons work and the existence of pool limit most weapons are unaffected or actually get weaker with more speed, i.e. hellfire, heaven's sword, knife, death spiral, etc. some do benefit from speed, but only up to certain point, like bible and phieraggi, even at dex's speed in this video, he already has too much projectile speed. more duration is pointless when you hit the pool limit, and he definitely hit the pool limit with bible.

I will respond as nicely as possible, but it's honestly a bit hard because it annoys me when someone with a lack of knowledge tries to teach me on how to do things. Projectile Speed has barely any impact on the weapon because a single hit knocks back the enemies and knockback immune enemies will walk through the Bible either way or they will be on attack cooldown of 1.7 seconds, similar to how it was seen with frozen bosses that had 0 numbers show up despite xx amounts of bible hitting them. And don't get me started on Duration. The weapon has a pool limit of 50, a limit of 23 projectiles and a max duration of 9 seconds while it "attacks" every 0.45 seconds with Empty Tome/Silent Old Sanctuary. This means after 1.35 seconds, you are capped out at 50 projectiles. It doesn't matter if you have duration or not because they just disappear and reappear. It takes time to get to these values, but you quickly reach a point where Duration has 0 impact on the run. The reason Area is usually the best stat to go for is that you can hit enemies earlier, but you also increase the size of your - in this case - circle. This means there is more surface and thus more space that enemies can walk on, since enemies can not walk through each other. Saying speed or duration are better than area is simply a lack of experience/actual field testing.

Because Area doesn't change the identity of the weapon, but being only playable by multiplying it's damage with means that have nothing to do with the weapon is a different topic. Growing the weapon in size is fun because it's change over the course of the video. We are talking about a single weapon 30 minute - more like 40-50 minute - recording where I am looking at the same weapon. There is rarely a better option available because the other Arcana are so bad in comparison. Area means for many weapons that you can hit the enemies as they spawn, almost insta-killing them. Most other Arcana have barely an impact on the weapon at all. Even here, you'd think that exploding projectiles are amazing, until you realise they do barely anything. Just for comparison: In this video, I took the exploding Arcana at minute 11, and we reached lvl 135 at 24 minutes. In my other recording I took projectile speed instead at 11 minutes and reached lvl 131. We are talking about a 4 level difference, which is close enough to have 0 impact. Without Boogaloo of illusions though, I was level 110. That's a 25 level difference. On a run that already struggles with experience gain since we don't have Wicked Season and a horrible weapon (kill wise). I am not even really sure why this had to be clarified, there are not really a lot of weapons that are not affected by Boogaloo of Illusions. The thing is that on many weapons, it allows you to multi-hit enemies due to overlapping size, while before you would only hit them once or twice. Death Spiral is a perfect example where it got so big, that upon spawning it hit all enemies on the screen, with every single projectile

i dont even play the game and i can tell projectile speed and duration are most of the time useless or harmful. i do think boogaloo of illusions do get boring over time, but it's not like dex have much of a choice. most weapons only benefit from a few arcanas, and probably half of those arcanas only add 1 thing and they're done, they stopped adding anything new to the run, like the explosions here in this run. sometimes it's interesting to see the explosions being helpful, but the explosions at minute 12 and the explosions at minute 25 are pretty much the same anyway. they also come in the form of additional effect (or internally as a hidden weapon), which means they get outscaled by the original weapon due to limit break. just by this logic you can tell that the most useful arcanas are the ones that directly buff a weapon. projectile speed and duration is most of the time useless, amount is also useless for the same reason as duration, dex already picked cooldown and might. that just leaves area and might (bloodline). bounce arcana is also not very useful since it basically means the projectile stay longer on screen, which means eventually you'll hit pool limit. by then you can evaluate how much do you gain from having bounce vs not, simply by calculating how many projectiles you have on screen without the arcana vs the pool limit of the weapon. bottom line is you'd be very hard pressed to find an arcana as useful as boogaloo, other than the arcanas dex already commonly picks, like wicked season, silent old sanctuary, slash, and bloodline

it because a 100% curse upgrade at lvl 9, instaed of stat buffs. Banish prevents it from being forced to be picked up.(when everything else is leveled up).

wow that just confirms my suspicion that this is one of the worst weapons in this type of game

Twilight Requiem is really...bad. All the weapons listed on it have low base damage except for Thunder Loop. It scales with curse but, so do the enemies so, in reality the only thing you actually get is explosions that knockback enemies(some of them anyway) and deal very low damage. On a non inverse mode map it can help but, on inverse, with the enemies extra hp it's pretty much useless and won't help you get any kills(it actually prevents you from killing anything LOL). Also, if you stopped playing Vampire Survivors I wouldn't blame you. You have done hundreds of videos on it already and there is only so much you can do in one game. I mean what's next? Mod the game to make it to where it's opposite? A 1 passive item run but, 6 weapons?
