I really wish Bible/Vespers had some function where at high enough Area, they'd gain another "ring" of books inside the far-out ring of books, to help avoid the high Area dead zone that develops, especially with limit breaks and high speed/low knockback enemies.

actually using banish would be a good option, maybe it can cost more banishes, like 10 or 50 banishes to get 1 limit break option off, just so it feels like you need to farm some eggs before u get there.

Hey, Dex! I gave something a try that was fun and I could've pulled it off if I didn't get greedy, but it's fun to try. Use the new Arcana for the birds - start with Smith (vandalier) - go Library. Trust me on this. Next, you get Peachone and Ebony Wing. The Pugnala Arcana gives you soooo many birds and when you lower CD and extend spell duration... it turns into one heck of a light show.

Oh yeah I definitely fix for the Bible's and best for as well would be to increase the size of the book Sprite as area increases I think that is a good fix and it fits with all the other items that increases scale.

What text editor do you use to look at the game's code? I've been using Notepad, but the format becomes atrocious. It all shows up as a single paragraph and hurts my eyes to look at. What's a good text editor to view the game's code?

Actually, area isn't bad with King Bible/Unholy Vespers. After a certain point, it stops making the projectiles orbit further away and starts making them bigger.

I think we're close enough to completion of 1.0 that it's reasonable start modding a little more heavily and also there are a lot of quality of life improvements that I hope come once the main gameplay stuff is iron now things like mostly UI stuff for example being able to mouse over any icon at any time to pull up a card showing its stats with modifiers and without with egg modifiers as well just everything noted in different parentheses and brackets and definitely can't forget to include the arcana and their descriptions in that as well because they're just so hidden that it's hard to absorb the information of all of them without just going to the menu and staring at it for a while which is very uninctive. That said now that we have limit break we definitely need limit break and a No Cap selection option as well so that even if it becomes literally game breaking we can disable all of the caps in the game or maybe have a separate little menu the lights you bark boxes to toggle enable/disable the limits for certain in-game features and statistics. Realistically it's a little bit of you I work and some code to hook to all those interface options but once everything is ironed out and it doesn't have to be done multiple times it'll definitely be worth it for the quality of life improvements will provide so and I expect there planning something like that and in addition I would love to see the ability to extend the timer by 10 minutes all the way up to about an hour and then unlimited mode or endless mode if you prefer that lexicon.0. This only works on low Curse, on high Curse enemies will charge into the Guardians eventually and then kill you. Also in the beginning it's really difficult to avoid dying because the enemies are faster than you. One green blob that gets inside and you can't outrun him

This one is complicated. The only way I reliably find it is by searching for 0.01 and "find all". When you scroll down in the results you will see a ton of them show up, if you double click on them it will bring you there. It's the normal order of weapons, but you cna take the name above the limit break stats (the one in brackets, not the entire thing) and SEARCH ALL for it again. Do not - I repeat - do not click on "find next" or it jumps away. By doing this it should list the weapon name

I did a similar run but instead of 1 weapon I had 2 and picked up Garlic to handle the ones that got through the bibles

Can you please update your gold farm guide? Has your no-eggs strategy changed now that we can limit break and now that we can do only a couple weapons? I don't have enough eggs to copy what you did on bone zone on stream I always get owned at like minute 9.

None-egg doesn't change because hurry moongolow is already enough struggle to finish the run (as in, get Corridor) so limit break has no effect. The only difference it makes is when bone zone becomes more efficient. But what I said in the video remains true: Take the REAL time it takes for a hurry moongolow run, e.g. 10 minutes for 20 eggs (12+80k gold, if that happened to you) Then take the REAL time (real meaning actual time, not ingame time) for bone zone, e.g. 40 minutes for 45 eggs (3+420k gold). Since you can do 4 moongolow runs in this EXAMPLE, the value of moongolow is 20x4=80. Only when bone zone hits 80+ its better. At 40 you would lose half of the time efficiency.

honestly unholy verses at least you can see the bibles when maxing amount, verses is just a blur unpleasing to the eyes

I had a run like this, got to 29:43 something. Kept being overrun by mobs pushing through the vespers. So I think it's maybe,, possible without modding, but one run was good enough for me. Just not worth the effort.

I tried solo limit break Unholy Vespers and it's impossible for me without egg upgrades I guess. At least at 150% curse(debuff+torrona). So far I can't finish the challenge with solo Vandalier on Smith and Pentagram on Christina or whatever her name is. :)

This is done without egg upgrades :) On the end screen the egg amount shows up top right if any were used, though you also see in the beginning none were used (the option to use them is toggled off). It's definitely a tough one but with Wings it should work. Vandalier I could see an issue being his 9 HP, but without Curse it should work. Christine is a tough one, but the nice part is that you can take all the tank items since nothing but Empty Tome applies to Moon. But it's a VERY annoying one where I used to just reset until the first blast didn't wipe XP and I got a chest from the minute 1 boss. That way you guarantee Pentagram level 3 (well, if you get it in one of the 2 level ups)

@@DexTag Managed to do Vandalier after few tries on 150% curse(by accident). Also managed to get Moon to 27 minute but they just blob me afterwards every time as healing, armor and tiramisu fails. Moon is just too random with clearing screen and have weak upgrades at limit brake to manage even 50% curse. I guess laurel would suffice but solo is solo. :D Need to try book again, but without area mod as you did it will be hard. :)
