Slammed Nissan Hardbody gets fuel, brakes, and steering finished!

Can't stop the momentum now! I couldn't help but make the Body dropped Nissan truck start, steer, and stop. With a few days of work I was able to get this cool little cruiser to drive out of the shop under its own power for the first time in two years! What a good feeling getting a long term project to this milestone. Hope you dig it!

Watching Dave is like a relaxing show, like watching Bob Ross painting. Only Dave is making happy little air bag trucks, that float over here, and oh there's a happy little lifted truck that is steering over there.

I've always loved a clean slammed truck. Helped a buddy back in high school bag his square body S-10 we had it set up with all 4 corners independent, but had a lotta problems. Ended up doing a front rear setup. It'd lay some sparks though. Never could get it down my driveway on the farm so I never built one for myself. Always wanted to slam a 1st gen Tacoma ext cab to match my lifted one. Dave you inspire me to work on my stuff, and brose for another project.

I'm building a 1940 DeSoto swapped on a 1984 Grand Prix chassis and floor pan. After stretching the chassis 14½ inches, the steering shaft was obviously too short. Went to the junkyard and found a Jeep YJ shaft to be the right length. Sure enough works. Your awesome steering shaft solution brought this up.

Love the wide range of stuff you do. I got trolled on a forum where they claimed that my experience building suspensions on race cars does not in any way translate to 4x4s. Maybe so, after all the gravity of the rocks in their heads do weigh more on the rest of us....

As a hard body nerd, I'm loving the mini truck stuff. Also, try blue sharpie for best marker. They mark well, and easily seen in person and on camera.
