Slaburday Saturday on the Sawmill - Urban Salvaged Ash & Wood Boiler

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

On the sawmill this Slaburday Saturday is a "ugly" Ash log from a customer who has hired us to sawmill it into slabs. Never a surprise to see the beautiful grain inside these "ugly" logs. We also give you a quick tour of what we do with the "waste" cuts, which we use to heat our shop and kilns using outdoor wood boilers.

1/1/22; hey Paul, Happy New Year! Great to watch you operate that very big band saw mill. 2day you cut a big Ash trunk into 2 1/2" thick slabs. Beautiful grain inside these 4-5 slabs each 7'tall x 4' wide. They look absolutely great! Also wanted to say your narration was more focused...had less unrelated chatter...comments converging just on task at hand seemed-to me-to flow into my ear lots better...Thx for your (improved) less wordy/peripheral 'fill' chat...while filming important aspects of your equipment (saw mill, blades, kiln, sander etc) & then close-up camera shots of the grain patterns. Thx for all your investment in time & editing these Saturday videos. Keeping noises from normal work day activities out of filming was correct. You have eliminated sharp noise distraction. Thx!👍👍👍🧑‍🔧🍷

Beautiful slabs! I dig the music choice as well. P.S: I am a big fan of minimum waste operation at Legacy number. Next level, build a smoke house so not even the smoke goes to waste 😂. Kidding of course.

Keep on slabbin! I must have missed the episode you talked about going to the hospital. A Mr Beast type KZreadr would have clickbaited that for weeks. I’m glad you’re not this as it makes your videos watchable. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
