Best for me are Ted, Nat, Rachel, Karun, Martin, Ant, Jenson, Nico and Naomi! Definitely, absolutely, keep them! I'm fine with Crofty and Damon. I actually like a bit of cabaret! Though I, personally like Danica, she is replaceable. And Simon drives me up the wall. I would be fine if he went missing! Sorry, not sorry! Vettel would be a great addition. As would be anyone from the F1TV crew! PS: The reserve drivers and others that have made guest spots in the booth and elsewhere have been Great Color Commentary! More of that, please! And, may I say, ESPN coverage of Formula 1 has been 97% perfect. The best overall experience in the entire 45 plus years I have been watching F1! Every session and even all of Ted's fabulous Notebooks! If the TV rights are sold to Apple it will be an horrendous nightmare, guaranteed. It will become astoundingly expensive to watch And we will have to jump through fifteen hoops to watch the "abbreviated due to time constraints", partial weekend "selected sessions". One probably won't even be able to watch any of it on their smart TV. We'll probably have to buy a confounded Apple device to even watch it! Nee! I say... NEE!

Danica Patrick is absolutely unbearable. I mute her or switch commentary feeds whenever she’s on. Croft, brundle, and chandhok are by far my favorites. Lee Diffy would be a nice addition. Maybe even spark an F1/Indycar double feature at COTA…. IF they could put aside their greed and egos. A guy can dream.

Especially in a loud environment- it feels like my wife is yelling at me. I do like what they’re doing with having strategists on the lineup, especially Bernie collins. Idk if she’s still onboard but I really like hearing strategy from her. The new girl is good but not as good as Bernie.

Please . . No more Danica Patrick! Tacky and dry and has a completely American sense of what F1 is.

Danica is terrible, unprepared, and has no clue about F1 in general. Having said that this guy is certainly a euro with the typical huge inferiority complex. You do realize F1 has been racing in America for decades right? What is your interpretation of what an “American sense of what F1 is”? As an American I love the fact that F1 is not Spec series racing like NASCAR and Indy car. I’ve been an F1 fan long before Drive to Survive and probably longer than you’ve been alive.

I am an America but do not like non- F1 people working in it. Let Hinchcliff stick with Indy car, Danica Patrick has no place in F1 either.

Danica doesn't add anything to Sky F1 except being a Lewis fan girl, same like Naomi, didn't do anything big in racing. Bring in ex F1 drivers who know the F1 world and what goes on in a F1 drivers head. I did think that Bernie was amazing, she really knows what is going on behind the scene's. So my wish would be Sky F1 be less bias and jump off the Lewis fan train and be objective like real pundits should be.

I don't care what gender, race, nationality or age the presenters and pundits are.... I just want experienced people on my screen that can provide informative, clear, precise and reliable information to me along with some charisma! Brundle is Mr Formula 1. A vastly experienced driver that I grew up watching on track, and not only in F1, but also in other categories of racing, too. Team-mate to legends of the sport and a hugely respected figure in the paddock. Sky would do well to keep him as long as possible!!! Simon and Natalie are fantastic presenters than have been around for a while now and know their stuff! JB is a World Champ that knows the sport inside out and is one of the most charismatic pundits around. Karun is a walking F1 encyclopaedia and you can reply on his insight 100%. Ted is a great journalist and pit lane reporter who has been in the paddock for about 20 years. The hate he gets from younger fans is a complete disgrace, and Sky would do well to learn the difference between genuine fan opinion and kids online in comment sections..... Bernie was a GREAT addition and provided some valuable team insight around strategy! Anthony Davidson is an ex-F1 driver and has bags of experience as a test and development driver for BAR/Brawn and Mercedes. He's the perfect pundit for the Sky Pad and his attention to detail and knowledge of the cars is second to none. Nico Rosberg is experienced, but he does lack a proper TV charisma. Knowledgeable yes! Not the most interesting to listen to.... Damon has some great knowledge of the sport. Winning the 96 title is one of my fondest F1 memories as a fan. Not the most engaging of pundits, but younger viewers should listen up! Naomi, I've struggled with. I'm sure she'd make a great presenter, but she's not the best pundit for F1. She's never raced in F3, F2 or F1, so how can she be considered an expert capable of providing any useful insight for viewers. I'm not going to go down the route of calling her a diversity hire, but her racing CV isn't the best, barely went beyond F4 level, and there has been a few occasions in 2023 when the other pundits have given her a bit of a side eye for her opinions, or when she's talking about how an F1 car works..... Pundits need to have real F1 experience to assure the viewers that what they're talking about is accurate and reliable.

Stick with pushing for quality announcers instead of Disney DEI quotas please.

Rosberg gets my vote for the axe. His nasally whine puts my teeth on edge and he often seems to be more interested in pit lane drama than the racing.

It will become increasingly obvious that Daniel will never even look at the scurge that is Danica. She is so far below him. She will be dismissed.

You didn't mention the obvious upgrade... getting rid of Croft, and substituting with someone who is not so shrill.

I heard Mark Webber doing commentary recently and he was excellent. His F1 knowledge is gold class.

C4F1 is Diversity gone a tad wrong, C4, an English channel with everything but an Englishman in it. Webber & DC will probably be scrapped if they don't identify as something soon.

Danica is not a part of the answer here. Nope, we’re good. Usually don’t speak for other people but I’ve never heard one person say she did a good job. lol. So I feel okay saying we’re good.

Most people I know dislake Brundle with a passion. My main reason for getting F1TV was to get away from Brundle.

I can't stand Danica Patrick. Sky Sports would do well to get rid of her. Most Americans don't care for her

I can’t stand schiff. She really doesn’t add any value to the broadcast. It just feels forced to grow a certain part of the viewership. Bernie on the other hand really does have some valuable insights and points on strategies. I’ve enjoyed her. Also, as an American, retire Danica Patrick. I don’t enjoy her on any broadcast.

I just dont understand how schiff stands alongside world champions like Rosberg and Hill and Button and talks as a 'specialist'...??? Bernie is great and has run F1 teams strategies. And Danica has driven tough races and against the best in the US, in Indycar and Nascar. Thats very credable.

As American, I absolutely hate the sky sports coverage on ESPN. Danica Patrick has nothing to do with F1, so I don't even know why she's an option. She was a publicly stunt for IndyCar and NASCAR. Never did anything meaningful.

Danica was good in indycar dk what your on about. The fact that she was in both top series and was competitive is insane. No other woman has even come close to what she has done. Jimmie Johnson switched to indy and could barely finish a race.

@@duanebailey6253 I agree. I think Danica is contributing a lot as a commentator. This is unlike Naomi Schiff, who unlike Danica, wasn't good at anything - she finished 16th in W series and she doesn't contribute anything in commentating, stating the obvious. They could literary randomly pull some fans from grandstands at an F1 race and many of them would do similar or better job as commentator; same goes for Crofty.

Bernie has been a great addition, I have learned a lot from her insights. Brundle is F1. Karun is great because he has good knowledge and has infectious joy about racing. I enjoy Anthony Davidson on the Sky pad analysis.

Part of the issue here is the simulcast to a US audience on ESPN… every other country has their own broadcast - Germany and Austria for instance each has its own broadcast team. But instead the UK has to put up with Sky trying to please a VERY different audience and the US has to put up with a broadcast which from its outset wasn’t set up for a US audience.

I love SkyF1, I don't watch ESPN's use of SKY, I download proper UK coverage, all of it, if you include F2 and F3, practice, Quali, & both races, to the tune of 1.4 TB's a season . I don't want an American crew, THERE ARE NO QUALIFIED AMERICANS TO COVER FORMULA 1, none, not one has an F'ing clue. Danica is god awful.

Schiff is without a doubr the worst possible fit for a sky one F1 coverage team. I dread seeing her and she has little knowledge and less charm

Croft is problem #1. He needs a sock in his mouth. Brundle has to save him from himself multiple times during each race. He needs to be paired with Leigh Diffey in some remote camel racing circuit.

Danica Patrick is a horrid commentator, but she is being jammed down the viewers throats because of Liberty Media thinking that more Americans will watch because of her, they are very wrong. I have ESPN and F1 TV, I normally watch the ESPN/Sky Sports Broadcast, except when Danica is on, then I switch over to F1 TV so I don't have to hear her.

Danica is useless. Would gladly see her go. Vettel is european and those are the races Brundle goes to . Don't want to see the Brundle go ... yet. The young viewers know relatively little, a lot having been dragged in by DTS. They are NOT racing fans (sweeping statement) but the viewing audience mustn't be cast asidde for a target market that may never materialise. Personally as an LH supporter, my personal view of Sky in the aftermath of AD 21, especially Brundle, was that they went by the decision. Martin said that at the time and has stuck by his guns. Ted got a bit testy I will admit, and redBull just threw their toys out the pram. Personally I find it obnoxious that every third race we seem to have Horner fom the pitwall, rarrely any other team boss. Personally I could do without it, even if they aren't Horner. I want to see racing and not be constantly interupted by inane commentary.

Danica is number one. Top of the list to be shown the door.

Danica doesn't know anything about F1, Schiff once seriously asked "Is being over a second a lap slower bad?", Scarbs, Bernie Collins and Ben Collins are excellent! Ted starts to mumble, speaks quietly and spaces out words at the end of his sentences, plus he *constantly* talks about food and explains things with food sometimes physically, a wheel can't be just a wheel, no that's too hard to visualise, it has to be a cheese wheel. Once while interviewing an engineer on the Notebook, he pulled out some cheese, tried and failed to mash it into the shape of the item in question and the guy couldn't hold back the look of embarrassment on his face, then he starts eating it and of course it's him cracking an egg on a tyre in this vid🙄. Crofty has to pull the most meaningless stats out and then acts like they have some bearing on the future. Pinkham, Lazenby and Brooks don't know much either. I can't see why they don't just rotate the ex-F1 drivers, they explain so much really well and easily to understand, stuff only ex drivers would know, plus most of them are funny. Anthony Davidson is really good at explanations and cause he's a sim driver for Mercedes he know how a lot of system on the modern cars work. I love Brundle being there but after his heart attack nobody would blame him for missing races, especially at races that are either boring or where the overtaking usually only happens on the start finish straight.

Danica needs to go, whether she comments on F1, Indycar or NASCAR she's just unbelievably unbearable and unwatchable. She's consistently having to be corrected by others in the booth because she just doesn't know her facts.

I have already complained to sky sports, about danica. Not renewing my f1 subcription is the only way to make my point

If sky is trying to win the american market for f1 this is not the way. I watch because of the british presenters, i like them better than the f1 presenters. Danica is too crass, rough and doesnt have the skill to present a sport that she tries to relate to, from her experience as a racer

Karun Chandhok is my favorite F1 commentator. That aside, I can't tell you how many times I gritted my teeth when I saw an overtake about to take place, only to have the camera suddenly (and by default apparently) go to the forward car looking out the back as the passing car goes by out of sight as it makes the pass. I think race fans want to actually see the track and the cars and how the pass is set up. And I really don't want to see the crew (or crowd) cheering on the winner as he (she) crosses the line when other races and places are still being decided. For me, that's a more important issue regarding coverage.

Karun is a biased hack. He had a failed f1 stint, he creates fake drama and doesn’t add anything of significance to the broadcast. He’s embarassing and a massive brown noser. Can’t wait till he’s removed.

Basically nothing changed then. Nico Rosberg needs to be a regular.The Americans I dont know any of them except for Danica Patrick and shes low par. If Seb comes back it will be in a seat or in management.

Sorry, this American has been following F1 for decades and “knows” them all-totally cannot abide by Danica Patrick. I like Anthony and Karun. Nico Rosberg really gives us great insight of the car, the thoughts of what the drivers are thinking, etc. Jenson does that, too. Damon Hill licks Hamilton’s boots the most so he can leave!

I am new to F1 (this year). I started watching on F1 TV. I like Jaques and company. As Chance will have it (had some issues with F1) and I watch the races on Sky. Objectively, Sky did much better commenting on practice sessions providing far more insight into what teams are doing than the F1 TV crew. Crofty grew on me. For me, the only real fool is that Ted guy. He asks really dumb questions and behaves childishly sometimes. (I think he thinks it is funny). I watched some archived seasons (2010-11) and Ted was better. Crifty grew on me but really only during the practices. In the race, Jaques is more engaging and more exciting to listen to. Drivers... I like David Coultard. He was very fair. Rosberg was insightful. I like Brundle too. Despite his age, he knows his craft well and I feel like I learned from him. he benefits of watching the races on Sky. Pus that girl with the thick Irish accent. She really adds a lot to the practice sessions.

In my opinion the commentary team is too large. Ultimately the customer pays for all the broadcasters costs - I'd like to see a lower cost of viewership for the customer.

IMO the ones who should be replaced are incompetent and biased Crofty and Ted Kravitz because as much as respect Kravitz’s knowledge his anti-Verstappen bias isn’t appropriate for an F1 station that is worldwide and not called Sky F1 England. His antics would be an equivalent of a football commentator calling Germany the1966 World Cup champions and asking the final match referee what be is doing here, as Kravitz asked about Massi. To be fair, German RTL was at least as biased as Kravitz (but more competent) and when Schumacher hit Villeneuve in Jerez, they didn’t see it even if the whole world saw it. The most competent F1 commentator right now is Mark Hughes, far more than even illustrious Gary Anderson (who is far more competent than Kravitz who thinks last year’s Red Bull was the most dominant car in F1 history which is denied by qualifying and race data) who didn’t understand the implication of 2021 technical regulation changes and thought that this would hinder Red Bull with their high-rake philosophy (lesson: don’t listen to him if you are betting on F1). From the current Sky, Rosberg and Brundle are the best, Rosberg should replace the incompetent and biased Crofty whose cop-on is glacial (once he only noticed Alonso’s overtake only after 12 laps, and this happens to him in almost every race, though not for 12 laps - I honestly don’t know what Sky is paying him for as he lacks technical and driving knowledge too). Compared to Crofty and Kravitz biases, Danica Patrick is very balanced and far more pleasant.

@@mickwrinkles2318 Rosberg knows his stuff about F1, Crofty doesn't. I cannot imagine Crofty doing Barcelona track analysis or reviewing 2023 cars development. And boring is better than 12 year old AD/HD type of squeaky voice that Crofty puts on. Paid Sky subscribers should have an option of listening to Sky commentary with Crofty voice muted same as the F word.

I don’t want diversity, tick the box, hires. I prefer ex-drivers like David Coultard, Jensen Button and Mark Webber.

Get rid of Danica NOW. I will actively avoid any broadcast that she is a part of.

Danica doesnt belong anywhere near F1. Case stop.

Guenther Steiner needs a job and would be a lot of fun.

Gunther Steiner would be a welcome person in perspective from the team decisions, protocol and reasoning behind protests against race results and infringements. Would be happy to see Seb Vettel doing driver interviews and eventually take over from Martin.

LOL The day she wondered out loud whether the F1 cars can set their brake bias was the day I started going to get a cold beverage every time she comes on.

How about less talk altogether, Sky sorts never just shuts up and let fans watch the race.

Agree. Many years ago, the 'talking heads' in hockey went on strike in Quebec when I was skiing at Mont Tremblant. They still broadcast the games but with zero commentary. After a few minutes to adjust, it was quite pleasant and I got into the game more because I needed to pay attention. Kind of like when autopilot takes over too much and the real pilots forget how to fly a plane.

I respect Bernie Collins. The only problem is I can't understand a single word she says. You'd need close captioning in English to understand her.

I just don't like him, nor most of the Sky team. I just hope they lose the rights.

Both Dario and Seb would be great, both very experienced in Motorsport, straight talking, funny and articulate. Nico is also a good pundit, not afraid to say what he thinks. I just cant imagine F1 without Martin Brundle, the others i can kinda take or leave.

Get rid of Lazenby, he cant help himself to dredge up whatever may be controversial then again he is probable told what to dredge up

The thing about Danica is she doesn't GAF what people think. She's going to say what is on her mind. She did the best interview of Max I've seen.

I'm just grateful I can watch every practice, quali and race in the US. I'll put up with anyone Sky has on. 😂

I never understood why Will Buxton wasn’t brought in to be the main Pre-Race and Post-Race Anchor, then commentary from garages during the race. He is always prepared, quick witted, and flows through interviews. Superior to Brundle (horrible on the grid) and Kravitz who is just horrible.

As far as pundits go Rosberg and Button are top draw, for me Naomi and Danica are poor at coming up with questions and even worse at answering them, normally their answers don't even relate to the question asked. All the other pundits they fall somewhere between. Teds fine, Nats fine (in both ways), Crofty give me an alternative, 24 races of him is too much...Not sure about Franchitti (either of them) from what I've seen of them they both grate a bit..

The problem sports broadcasting has is that they respond to social media and the assumption that everyone is on it and therefore negative social media feedback represents the total audience. Well it doesnt. You never respond to docial media feedback. What should happen is that companies should do their own surveys rather than get dat from an algorithm from a small portion of the audience. Most social media is from non- fans having s sook who dont watch the sport and the corresponding coverage.

I think the addition of Seb Vettel would be a winner! His knowledge of the sport is vast, his experience recent and he's a well loved character in the paddock. I also agree with getting the reserve drivers in to do feature spots, again, their insight would be great. The only one in the current line up that I personally do not like is Dancia Patrick, I cringe every time she opens her mouth, I know more about the sport than she does!!

IndyCar is moving to Fox from NBC. Leigh Diffy would be great. He knows F1 and calls a great race.

I am a fan of F1. I've been following it since reading Rob Walkers (and Innes Ireland) articles about the races in Road & Track magazine. F1 here in the USA was broadcasted by an American channel with familiar TV personalities for quite a while. Then it was switched to Ski Sports. I have no issue with the Presenters but as I pointed out to Sky Sports via email I feel that there is a slight but noticeable bias towards the English drivers, but my main complaint is the sound track. First (especially the soft speaking woman) I can struggle a little due to their accents but the sound mixing is so off! They have the car noise so high that it overwhelms the human voices. Yesterday I watched FP1 and immediately the problem was evident mostly when the commentators were in their commentary box. When they went to Martin trackside it wasn't an issue. Why concern ones self about who are the presenters when their commentary is so difficult to hear! I watch a lot of racing. IMSA, Indy Car a bit of NASCAR, Aus Supercar, Le Mans etc, NONE of those broadcasts suffer from this issue.
