The quote at 6:12 has to be my favorite quote by him. He's extremely guile, and is able to put on that guise of a friend. It when he says that quote, that you remember how small you seem to him. To him, you're just a character in his story.

There isn't a character alive in Mundus who could really defeat a Daedric Prince, and even if you can destroy or displace the "physical" body, it's not really like that's any major setback. The only way to completely destroy or kill a Daedra is to completely destroy the plane of Oblivion they inhabit- and that's just Lesser Daedra and Dremora- for the Princes themselves? Well they've existed since before Oblivion, so destroying their realms really won't do much of anything even if you could muster that amount of power. Put it simply; if a Daedra has a grudge against you, there is literally nothing you could do about it. Period. PS; sorry if this comment seems upset or agitated- I'm not! It's just hard to debate or discuss through text without sounding upset.

It's all about the RP, I assume my Last Dragonborn to become such a legend and achieve CHIM and be something greater than even Tiber Septim, which elevates me at least into Daedra territory if not more. Talos was a pure mortal, we're already the Dragonborn with blood of Akatosh.

@@DonaldRoll That's just a bit too ridiculous imo. Besides, Talos was Dragonborn, too. But even achieving CHIM doesn't mean you're able to no diff Daedra, we don't even know the full extent of what CHIM even is beyond popular fan canon. But destroying a Daedric Prince is absolutely way too ridiculous, I don't care of I'm literally a God, you can't destroy infinity, unless you're somehow stronger than the Godhead who made everything to begin with.

I can't think of any. I don't think they acknowledge you as Dragonborn for role play reasons. If you got a mod, such as SkyrimUnbound that allows you to not play as Dragonborn, they'll make it easier for modders who won't have to remove any pieces of dialogue.

In here Clavicus in his half-power state said the Dragonborn is almost as powerful as him. I wonder if he can now defeat any of the Daedric Princes after his battle with Miraak.

@@Moa_Smug It is possible, dragonborn is an extremely powerful being in the ES lore. A dragonborn that consumes enough souls whose power can match with the gods. Only difference is that dragonborns can die, but daedras cannot. Actually to defeat a daedric prince in his own realm is impossible. But Miraak is very powerful indeed, even though Mora decides to eliminate Miraak, he still has to seek the assistance of the last dragonborn to do so, but still there is no chance for Mirraak to confront Mora directly in his realm, therefore he wants to escape the Apocrypha.

This proves it! Post Dragonborn DLC the player surpasses the Daedric Princes in power since The Last Dragonborn is half the power of Clavicus Vile and Miraak was stronger than The Last Dragonborn and you end up absorbing his Soul which means you gain his power on top of your own making you more powerful than a Daedric Prince

Also, Miraak couldn't stand up to H.M. and escape Apocrypha, but with the power of the last dragonborn, he could, indicating that the last dragonborn and Miraak both are about half as strong as one of the princes before their fight. But I always thought that the reason why Miraak could do it was that he is a master when it comes to the absorbtion of dragon souls (the dragonborn also posessing a dragons soul) and the thu'um, I mean he could perform a 4 word shout that instantly killed dragons and let him absorb their souls. He probably needed a lot of time to Master those techniques, and I doubt the last dragonborn is even remotely as good as he is in that regard, he's just a better fighter in the traditional sense. So I don't think he got Miraak's power.

The Rueful Axe is among my top 5 favorite looking weapons in Skyrim. With “The Rueful Axe” mod that gives it properties of a silver weapon, it makes it so much better to use in game.

"You're almost as powerful as I am right now - But that's because half my power is in that mutt Barbas!" Let's assume that *almost* means 3/4 of Clavicus Viles current power. Now I dropped out of Highschool, but lets assume that means that with, even at full power, the Dragonborn is roughly a quarter as powerful as a Daedric Prince. The Dragonborn, a man/woman with a raging skooma addiction, mountain climbing expertise, and is completely incapable of volume control, is a quarter as powerful as a Daedric Prince, a God. This also means that the Dragonborn is roughly as powerful, if not more, than the Aedra, assuming their much weaker than the Daedra, and not just like, an initsey weentsy bit.

the aedra are generally stronger than the daedra (but I wouldn't mind if you said they were equals). If they were weaker, Mehrunes Dagon, Molag Bal and Nocturnal would have annihilated Nirn and bypassed the dragonfire barriers easily.

The Daedra are actually significantly more powerful than the Aedra because the Daedra gave none of their power/life force to create Mundus, whereas the Aedra did, which essentially put them in an eternal coma with their worshippers being their only life support. This is legitimately factual to the lore. This is why the Daedra literally are unkillable and the Aedra can be killed. The Aedra are only able to guide and influence events from a far distance whereas the Daedra can influence events sometimes directly. It's also theorized that one of the reasons why the Aedra have avatars that appear on Nirn every now and then is because of their lack of ability to intervene in times of global calamities.

so me and some buddys are playing a Skyrim table top and i was walking and happened across a shrine in a cave full of vampires u can see where this is going right so i touch the statue my companion tells me its Clavicus Vile, i pray to him a cup shows up i cut my hand open with my dagger and pour blood into the cup drink it my strength jumps from 42 to 63 and my personally jumps from 30 to 7Its like my 3rd session as well i already was able to seek dadric influence and live but now am a total asshole

For those who are saying Dragonborn can defeat a major Daedra. That's BS. A minor or lesser Daedra is possible. But the top dogs are another thing. Both Aedra and Daedra have been here since the beginning of time. Generally, Aedra are weaker then Daedra due to their contribution in creation of Nirn. Except for Akatosh, he is the strongest among them. As seen in oblivion, he could best Dagon but he had to be summoned himself and Martin lost his life. Ain't no way, you are getting that power for free. Another thing, the tribunal living gods were powerful too but I don't think even they wanted to fight a Daedra, schemes sure but outright aggression was generally avoided. You have to have some deep shit to best them. Like hero of Kvatch who is Sheograth himself.
