To be honest I’d love Majora to be in over Skull kid, since technically the mask itself has appeared in more games over Skull Kid. I mean the idea of playing as a giant evil mask with tentacle whips and smash attacks being it forming the arms and legs to smash its enemies. Also an idea I came up with Majora would have a counter that works different than usual, if the counter is affected Majora screams which stuns the opponent instead of dealing damage. Also it means at high % his counter could be a kill option, but that’s just my superior idea to Majora being better than Skull kid no matter what

When I was a little kid I actually made up a moveset for Majora in smash. Of course, one of the moves I remember coming up with was the mask attaching itself onto the opponent, giving you full control over their body for a few seconds because I was like 8 and had no concept for good game balance.

Why Assist trophy?! I imagine the trailer with Young Link pulling out his fierce diety mask!....

Personally I find that Shot Put (which would help with Pikachu by the way since it's a projectile), Soaring Axe Kick, Flaming Drop Kick, and Feint Jump work best for beign the most Skull-Kid-ish (with voice 8 normal) and I see we both agree on Feint Jump at least. He's actually my new main along with Inkling and Mewtwo and I'm probably best at playing as him.

But we aready have a mini costume

At least the Mii Costume can allow a playable version to be in in some form. Just give the Mii a darker skin tone and give him a Skull Kid-like moveset and voice (I use Shot Put, Soaring Axe Kick, Flaming Drop Kick, and Feint Jump, with voice 8 normal) and you basically have a playable version of Skull Kid in a sense since the proportions are the same.

Joe not to sound mean but since some edgy anime character it may be unlikey for skullkid to be in smash as dlc just like how my dreams of Banjo and conker won't be in

What I don't get is why do people think he's not playable? People like Skull kid, Waluigi and Takamaru have always been playable.

Sorry dude skull kid is an assist trophy as much as I hate to admit it but he's already deconfirm as a fighter unless if nintendo announced that there will be 2 fighter pass he might have a shot but for now we will have to deal with it
