Honestly, as much I have been disappointed with the development of the game- and the features that have not been included. You have definitely made me want to actually play this game when it (eventually) comes out.

Closed beta is only on PC right? Gonna be so jealous of those rewards.

People have to remember, this game was marketed as "ac4 but only ship combat" when Ubisoft tells you what the game is its 9/10 what they say it is, imo i love it but thats because i never understood why a ac game would be a pirate game i wanna be an assassin not a pirate but im getting off topic, 2nd thing, its an earlier version probably like the payday 3 beta, so there is a lil jank and it looks very early , i think theres some promise here and ive been burnt out of sea of thieves, this game feels refreshing

Yes! At the start you can customise your hair, complexion ect. And then when in game you can customise your cloths ect. :)

It certainly looks promising but after being in development hell for so long im very apprehensive

game looks nice, the cutscenes and lore are good, but I think the game could improve in gameplay, more specifically naval mechanics. Otherwise the actual gameplay by spammals was good and funny at times 😂

What are your issues? Is it how the ships behave or is it the imaginary full auto cannons?

⁠@@scottruch76​​⁠From what I saw, your character can't walk on your ship, so when you're sailing it feels less immersive, almost like a glorified RC boat. I'm not expecting something like sea of thieves where you can use sails, anchor etc. But I think having boarding parties and such, and pvp combat while on your own ship would feel genuinely cool. Maybe also the ability to use a spyglass when playing as your character while on the ship too. Using the anchor or sails manually as your character are bonus points, but they're not really necessary for that added immersion The 1st person camera on helm does a really good job with the immersion I will say ship behaviour is OK. Maybe more natural movements, but its not really an issue Auto cannons are fine and make the game seem fun Graphics are great and potential for the game is high.

Why console cannot play only PC not fair

So it's basically Michael Bay AC Black Flag but they only adapted the ship battle and trashed the rest that made the past game good. It's like World of Warships but with Pirate Ships instead and a fucking rapid fire cannons. Broadsides isn't like that during the golden age of piracy wtf. They have the Black Flag as a blue print. How did they fucking miss this sht. It's Soo bad and unimmersive.

Ships maneuver to fast! Looks like a 15-20 years old game. Ubisoft is far behind the time. The bar on the island is just cosmetics, no interactions. Trees are cut down from the ship? Looks terrible. So much wrong with this game. Can't explore your own ship, can't go into the Cpt. cabin. For sure not a AAA game. Big disappointment
