Фильм және анимация

I chose a mortarbed showerpan for my skoolie shower to reduce cost and custom fit a shower into the confines of the bus layout.

About Us
Julie and I met and married on the river. As guides, we love sharing our passion for whitewater with others all summer. When not guiding, we love traveling to other rivers around the country and world. We bought our 2003 International Bluebird last year and have been working on our Skoolie conversion ever since. (Except for last summer where we had to stop working on it and live in it!) We hope that you enjoy the videos and they help you in some way. Thanks for watching!

Geez, with that cool of a shower in there you won't fit the stereotype of the "stinky" rafting guide. LOL!! Looking good!

At least my gear will still have that odor of experience! (Or, as Falstaff says in The Merry Wives of Winsdor: "The most villainous compound of smell that ever offended nostril!")

great job I did it very similar but I skipped the first step and dint put down mortar under my shower panel liner. It seems too excessive for a tiny house build. I dont plan on living in it for more than 1 year so I dont know why treat the same as they do houses

I did it just to create a shape to drain water. It was cheaper than buying a shower pan! Plus I could custom design the shape...

Hey! what mortar & grout did you use for extra flexibility?

I used versa bond with thinset mortar admix and Prism grout. They've both held up perfectly. No cracks and we drive some BUMPY dirt roads!

Why not just the 1 sloped dry pack?

I'm not sure I understand. What do you mean by 1 sloped? (I probably didn't do it because I didn't know anything about it)

Your first mortar dry pack was to get the slope for drainage, then you added the liner and another dry pack. I searched online to find why 2 dry packs are used, but no success. Where did you read to do 2 dry packs instead of just putting down the liner and 1 dry pack with the slope? I just put in my drain and I'm trying to decide which method to use.@@River-Channel
