Skoolie Adventure: Best and Worst Places for Boondocking

I put this video together after doing intense research on the best and worst places for boondocking while trying to plan my spring break trip.
One of the wonderful things about bus life or van life is that you have the option to stay in some unique and remote areas for no cost.
Every state has different regulations regarding skoolies, tiny homes, and boondocking. Boondocking regulations are different across the country and differ depending on where you're staying. If you're simply looking to get some sleep before driving, Walmart's, hotels, truck stops, and most gas stations will let you stay the night. However, if you're looking for somewhere to call home for a few days where you can destress, relax, and tune in with nature, the National Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) usually manage public lands that allow boondocking. This allows for a much more exciting, secluded and natural get away. Boondocking also help save on expenses of hooking up at a crowded campground.
To create this video I ranked the top 5 states according to bloggers' opinions, weather, and cost of gasoline. I used bloggers' opinions, crime rate, and documented boondocking locations to rank the 5 worst states. Please know, I have nothing against these 5 states, they are just what my own personal research ranking system determined to be the worst.
Please drop a comment and let us know your favorite, or least favorite, boondocking experience in your skoolie.

Great information. We love Utah and can't wait to visit with our camper. We're hoping to be in Colorado this summer. Gas in CA in insane! Good to know about all the boondocking in Arizona. I don't believe NJ has a lot of boondocking spots either. 👍#25

Should say pit toilets in forest area camps. 😇
