I think the on your turn/on your opponent's turn is supposed to represent how each color take their turns. White comes first and then it is to black to make a move. Pretty creative stuff.

@@zamorvex Pretty much, yea. But even if they have memory setters, it won't matter if you can get established. There have been times I got 3 if each Tamers on my field. When the opponent was forced to attack, I gained 6 memory with their Memory Setter on the field! So it passed back to me at 3. 😆

@@LaggimusPrime for example one of my friends plays a leomon deck and manervamon retaliate deck and lucemon that make it next to impossible to win against the minute they are out as attacking hurts you and not them so you have to win by not attacking or letting them have stuff in trash which I just don't understand how to beat....

Checking out a video for an interesting build and get shocked by my playmat! Absolutely love to see people using the design out there haha. Great deck tech as well, I was struggling for an idea of what to actually do with a chessmon deck

Yes! I love this art and design so much! The colors and style just flow so well, plus it is Numemon! I am a fan of those guys! xD Sukamon, Numemon, Etemon! This was pretty fun. Been building this madlad deck. Nice to see another person’s perspective. Overlooked the Keenan. He could be great. Now, when the next starter decks come about, that new Black tai will be great Also, Nice playmat.

So i actually really like this deck, its different from all thenother chessmon that it makes it interesting. I did change a cpl of things, instead of bt4 izzy i put in bt6 izzy&joe, then i also reduced sephirothmon to 2(unsure about this still) and put in 1 beast cyclone as a late stage possible otk

Yea that would be interesting with the Izzy & Joe. More mem gain on your turn if your opponent has more Digimon! I'm also thinking of reducing the Sephirothmon to 2 as well. Not sure what else to change though. Lol Glad you like the deck!

I think I'm going to also add some EX2 guardromons to mine as a slight troll. Imagine thinking you're going to swing over me with 14 or 15,000 DP and I gain an extra 3000 out of nowhere. 😅

Perhaps here in the near future soon! Especially with new cards that have the potential to make it better! Just been a bit on the slow side cause of RL situations. Also been adjusting and making other decks in the process. 😅 I'll try to get back to Jumbo-Chess for ya!

have you thought about playing the wargrey ace to have a surprise blocker? not sure if its better or worse than the queenchess

Yes! Someone else also mentioned the Ace Wargrey! I have thought about running it in the deck, but I'm not sure if it would be that useful? I would have to check and see! Might be able to do a test or two here and there to see how it would perform. Lol Thank you for the suggestion!

Why not use mercury with sephirothmon because it can give blocker as well. I also run anciebtwise mon

The reason I didn't want to also run Mercury was because I already had a lot of pieces I needed for certain aspects of the deck. Adding more Digimon would make it a little less consistent that wasn't the Chessmons. 😅 But I did consider it! Plus the deck already runs a decent amount of blockers as well.

Do you have an updated list since this video? I'm just about to make and was curious if there was anything that worked better. I was considering junkmon and parabolic junk for more memory stuff but not sure where to change things. But I wanna try out how it is first before attempting changes

Deck looks really cool! I've got most of the pieces so I'll probably try it out. Have you considered putting Parabolic Junk from BT6 in the deck? Could help you with stealing turns early game before you have many tamers on the field.

This is very true! I could test it out and see how well it could perform. The only issue I could see is that if I only have the 1 stack then I would have to wait till my next turn to apply it to the smaller Digimon, but it could possibly work as you said in the early game!

Can i blast ace the wargrey on top of the mamemon that is played put from jumbo and still be able to block with it? Or does it miss timing somehow

I'm not quite sure actually. I don't think it would miss timing because the attack is still happening and you are able to proc all of your effects whenever you'd like. I'll ask real quick!

From what I've been told, you should be able to digivolve into WarGrey Ace!

I love the deck. Have you faced Shine with him? does it have any chance?

I actually haven't tried against ShineGreymon yet with the new adjustments, but I'm not sure how well it could do. Shine is so powerful so fast. Jumbo-Chess kinda had to build up a bit.

To answer your question! It is a fairly even matchup! Well... sorta. Lol I went against it tonight in a friendly match. I was able to pick up the win! Only it was pretty back and forth. If Shine goes first and establishes a board, it is really difficult to make a come back. However if you play some things right, you can keep going long enough to possibly establish something. Lol I actually won with a deck out because I just ended up defending so long and ending their turn as soon as theirs started!

It does decent in some areas. Definitely makes some of them work for their victory. Lol I have won some matches here and there against them. Such as Royal Knights, Belphemon and ShineGreymon! 😁

Interesting deck! But I guess the biggest weakness of this deck is that it absolutely has no searching power? What is your thought on this?

It has some search power with Gotsumon. With the Miki & Megumi tamers you do draw quite often, but also when you digivolve into Mamemon, if there are pieces you need along with playing a Tamer, you can place what you need next on Top of the deck instead of the bottom! I have decked myself out before from drawing too much with my Tamers. 😅

Like for example I'm thinking replacing some of all copies of QueenChessmon with ShadowSeraphimon. It is 1 cost more to evolve, but possibly more impactful and may cause some hilarious scenario lol.

Well, i tested a deck list that's quite similar to this (4 Keenan, 3 Mamemon, no Queens) and i can say it searches a lot. Most times, each Keenan draws a card, most turn you draw one card per Miki and Megumi, and with Mamemon and Jumbogamemon you basically search your whole deck for all the tamers. Works kinda consistent.

Great deck! What are your thoughts about replacing the queenchessmon with wargreymon ace? Since you can play a lv5 out of jumbo and then blast evo to wargrey

I was thinking about that. It could be an interesting way to get another blocker than can be more aggressive, but QueenChessmon can continuously unsuspend if a Digimon with Chessmon in it's name gets deleted. However, testing it doesnt hurt!

Been playing chess in a similar way to you and tbh I think the queen is too combo reliant compared to war grey ace, the queen rarely gets more than two checks and war gray gets that on his own. Plus as the lad before mentioned the jumbo blast digivolve is a crazy trap a lot of people won't see coming

@@LaggimusPrime Awesome, I also love your inclusion of the Keenans, thinking of swapping out my 2 maki's for them, seems like it improves the consistency more than the maki search and reduces digivolve cost. Another card I have been using as a one of was beast cyclone. Have you considered this card at all, if so I would be interested in your thoughts?

@@Jot7000 I can definitely see that card as an option for more checks with less Digimon on the field! Since most of your Digimon are Blockers anyway, the effect can hit pretty much all of them! Lol However, I'm not sure what to swap out for the option... Testing doesnt hurt though. Also I do agree with the Maki change. Ever since I put her in the deck, it doesnt feel as consistent anymore. The digivolve cost reduction is nice, but it is passing up a lot of my pieces when searching. 😔

is there new changes or something? also whit the new ST15 stuff could become good ideas

I have thought about Jijimon, yes! It could be another way to bring out more Tamers and bodies into play, but I'm not gonna lie... everytime I've used Jijimon in a deck as a substitute or this very reason it's always backfired a lot. Lol Plus it is green. Isn't searchable by some of our effects and Izzy wouldn't proc on it. Thank you for the suggestion though!

While the "have a picture at the end" statement is valid and I agree with, please don't take the rest of this person's comment by heart. I do understand they kind of apologized, so it's fine, just wanted to mention that don't be disheartened of explaining in detail like you did here. In fact, it immensely helped me to understand better the whole Chessmon philosophy, especially when using Jumbo etc. I did like all the pieces of the deck, but didn't really know how to use them. So listening to you explaining everything, really gave me some ideas on how to use the deck. Just wanted to stress that out, and thank you for the vid.
