When it comes to skipping a jig, one of the biggest things that you can do is make sure you set you jig up for success. There are a ton of jigs on the market but there are a few that are going to skip better than others.
Along with your jig, you also want to select the right jig trailer. Have a jig trailer that is very wide is also going to help you skip a jig further!
BassFishingHQ is dedicated to teaching people how to catch more and bigger bass. I will go over different bass fishing tips & techniques that will put more fish in the boat or on the shore. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned tournament angler, my goal is to help you catch more bass.

I’ve watched a lot of videos on skipping and do it myself on almost every outing but I have to say, you have it down like nobody else. That video you did using normal, backhand, non dominant hand forward and backhand was just crazy. Truly impressive!!

I have a lot of fond memories of fishing as a child and also watching bassmasters on TV. I am 58 years old. I couldn’t afford my first boat until around the age of 36. I fished hard for a lot of years basically knowing nothing. So many things I do are self taught. I am a master at another craft. I also teach. What I am getting at is this. You are gifted. You have the ability to explain things and demonstrate at a very high level. You’re going to go far with this. Hey, my youngest daughter is having my 5th grandson this summer and he is already named Finn. She came up with that on her own. I need an infant size Finn T-shirt made.
