Blue Nile was the sister and first bar next to Golden Nile. Golden Nile is not the Blue Nile Bar. Also, Blue Nile Hotel was across the street. Had an Irish Pub on the first floor that did a great weekly cavalry buffet. But I'm going back to the 2007 era now.

Hey Chubs,reminds me of the old days of the Murphys group of bars where they had screens to the roof blasting out MTV videos all day and night (oldies will remember Sweet Charity,Flying Machine,Speakeasy,Murphys,Buccaneers, Roxy ) and you could get a free old style lap dance in every bar 😜. Good luck to Brian. I hope he's got a plan B if his concept don't work out. In a place like that he will need to do some aggressive recruitment. Attractive confident (experienced ) and suitable ladies will be a challenge to find out there. Guys will not be flocking in to watch TV and play pool. But I'm sure he has done his market research and will adjust things as things roll out down the track.

Great job as always! Any idea if it's a smoking bar or hopefully no-smoking or limited. INSX sucks in my opinion cuz of the upstairs smoking. Koreans luv to smoke and if they find this bar fun it will change quickly. Im sure Brian is tune to that. I can't wait to visit L3 once it opens either way. BTW people, joins Chad's Club. A lot of work and logistics getting stuff up those multiple levels of floors. One concern of mine would be what happens when a pool ball goes flying off the table down multiple floors? Might have to put up some kind of netting.

here in the Philippines the bar owner leases the building which is owned by Filipinos, if the bar goes bankrupt the leaser leaves sad and the bldg owner waits for the next “bar owner” to try his hand at it. Foreigners who try and start businesses here can not own the land or bldg

This all sounds great chubbs. It will be huge challenge training bargirls to this new way, I don't see it working. For one, I see very few girls in any bar I'd want to talk to me, no I don't want random girls just walking up to me, more of a pain then anything else.. I can grab a girl I want to talk to and talk to her easy peasy chubbs. Alot of guys will feel this way and what will happen is the less attractive girls will not find much luck so then what are they supposed to do ? Just keep tying and hearing no time and again. What happens when they go sit down because nobody wants to talk to them, will they be told to keep roaming ? Won't work chubbs. There will be a big learning period on how to do this in a good way and then getting these bargirls to learn this, big challenge. Will girls go out or only lap dances ? And he will need some hot girls, those are very tough to come by. He is going to have to do with higher pay to get any amount of hot girls, I don't see it chubbs. Maybe I am wrong, we'll see.

@@creatorsworld3570 The truth, almost every single bar manager is working in the shadows without the legal right to do so. Look at Johnny Farber aka Johnny Tango, was hear in Angeles City for over 20 years, 15 years without a passport or any visa. Managers can get away with it because they're inside the bars, and not prohibited by law, security is out front in the open, and can be seen by all. And then there is Republic Act 5487 " No person shall be employed as a security guard or watchman or private detective unless he is: (a) a Filipino citizen...", plus other conditions ,but this ones say you can never get a work permit to be a security guard.

Definitely not gonna attract the koreans. To American for them. But that's ok with me. 👍

No pressure ladies drinks is good but place probably not my cup of tea. I wouldn't be a fan of girls approaching me but it is probably good for others. One thing I always wanted was a foreign bar manager. Someone I could go to if there was ever a problem. Mark at the old Roadhouse ran a good club. He always looked out for his customers. I spent a crap load in that place and only took a girl once in all the time I went there. It was how he ran the place. Always knew I would never be ripped off.

Big plans and lots of claims, but if the original owners group who build Golden Nile, could not make it work with many more tourists in the Philippines, what has changed? Every bar owner as big plans and make big claims, but that seems to be where it ends. Brain is a smart guy, and seems to have better understanding than most, owners here, so I hope he can make it work.

Also, these locations and Agnew with partners were involved in murders of an Expat (David Balmer), and live in Girlfriend (Elma de Guia) in September 2011. The house that they were killed in belong to Richard Agnew. The other partner (Timothy Kaufman), was charged in these murders, and died in jail of a heart attack before going to trial. Three partners and only Richard Agnew was left owning the bar, after these very questionable things happen. Later, in July of 2011, Richard ran away after the Philippines was seeking to charge him with violations of the Anti-Trafficking of Persons Act. Three partners, two Balmer & Agnew ex policeman from Ireland, the third a former US Marine & WWE performer. I knew Tim, he lived in one of our complexes, I do not think the truth will ever be known about what happen here. But one thing is for sure, this is another example of bars being owned by a group of Expat partners going very wrong. I would never consider doing a business venture in the Philippines with other Expats as partners, things seem to go bad many times.

Me and my gf were at 69 rock bar a month ago thinking the pizza was good. Wrong!! Worst Pizza Ever!! It was like eating a ball of cheese. Brian sat next to us but I'm not one that would say anything in front of customers. We were there on a saturday night and the place was dead. My gf even thought the pizza was bad. I hope Level 3 has better food!
