I COULDN'T BELIEVE it when they told me MY VISA EXTENSION COST

Ойын-сауық

#philippines #angelescity #visa
I've been back in the Philippines for 30 days since my visit to Minnesota so my free 30 day Visa is over. In this vlog I go get my Visa Extension at the Immigration Office in Marquee Mall to save a few pesos, or so I thought, but when I heard the price I about died. I was always told I could save some money if I did my extension myself rather than use a service like Amega Travel and Tours which I've used for over a year, but the information I find out about going to Marquee Mall tells a different story.
Come see where I go, how long it takes, and what the prices are and why.

3030 is the standard first time extension. The second one is higher because of the ACR card. When I went for my 2nd extension they told me 7630 with the acr card. I was only going to be there for 12 more days. I overstayed and paid less than 3k to exit.

no i didnt overstay, i needed to go home after about 20 months here (you can extend up to 3 years) but to leave you need an ECC if youve stayed 6 months or more 👍 on my return my 36 months allowed started over, you extend before your free 30 days.. marquee was my 1st extension of 2030p for another 29 days plus 1000p express added to make it 3030p, and they told me the next would cost about 8000 without explaining that would be for an additional 59 days and an ACR card added

I would not do a visa extension in person because they charge the 1000 express fee always, it seems. Using an agent, you only give the paperwork to the agent, and the total is less than doing in person. The reason for the quote of, 8000 for the second extension, is they are including the required ACR Card. Which most tourist do not already have.

I fly to Thailand every time for 7500p - 9500P round trip. At those costs your better off taking a trip every months or so. Currently Cebu pacific to Bangkok out of Clark is 106$ round trip or 5600p, Singapore is often even cheaper. And Thailand now gives a 2 month visa exemption on arrival for free.

It is more than that, though, because you have to also show an exit ticket from the Philippines when you enter the Philippines on a tourist visa. When you add in the hotel and transport costs you are still spending a little more although you do get to travel to Thailand.

Darren from Davao here, wait to you see the next extension from here. Either one month or two is very expensive now depending if you have an active ACR card. The slow travel now seems to be the way to go. Once Thailand 🇹🇭 approved 2 months free visa with a possible one month extension. Then most of the surrounding countries of the Philippines 🇵🇭 are allowing three months free visa. The SLOW TRAVEL is a very interesting way to deal with the visa prices in the Philippines 🇵🇭

The tourist numbers in the Philippines and surrounding Asian countries a dropping very fast this year. So the competition is on who can offer the best Tourist Visa. The best visa is in the Philippines, The SRRV Military Visa is number one in my opinion. Under 50s like myself have very limited options. The Elite Thai visa program or the MM2H in Malyasia for under 50s. There for slow travel is the way to go forward in my opinion or grab a Beer and don't worry about it hahahah

I had no clue if you leave the country your visa is immediately void. I caught hell from the officer on entry. She was furious. Lesson learned. No visa's or special paperwork just a passport stamp or course you can get a visa for long 2-4 year stays.
