Hi Doc, I'm a 51 year old woman and still waiting for my teenage acne to clear. Where have the years gone??? Anyhoo, I would be so grateful if you would consider me as a guinea pig 😁 I think the main problem I have is extremely enlarged pores, and all the problems that come with. I used to use Retin A cream but for some reason the NHS in the UK have banned Drs from prescribing it. Can you recommend anything else? Me too be great to know how you got in with it, my mum who is 76 got one and used it thought she had some benefit but decided her skin was too old and damaged to get marked improvement. So she gave it to me I am 48 so have my fingers x fit a good result.. 😊

Dr. Lim, First of all, I love your videos. I treated a client that had PRP mixed with HA in Europe and loved the results after only one treatment. Are you doing that in your practice? If so, what type of HA are you using?

Not for tips, only for procedures.. thanks for the view. ( I am a procedural and laser dermatologist ) All the things I cover on KZread not relating to procedures are the basics of dermatologist, meaning every single dermatologist has this knowledge, some much more than I have. Reason is my strength are in scar revision, lasers, surgery and injecting.. anything to do with my hands. No prescriptions. Hence why I make these video as a reference for patients to watch when they ask me at the end of laser... what skin care should I use- these video come in handy as every post laser patient gets skin care. Hence saving me time and boredom ( can't get super excited repeating the ABCs for skin care 15 time a day, or melasma treatments and aftercare). That s one of the reasons for these videos. Davin Lim

The thing is that a lot of non-invasive treatments only last for a couple of months. You'd have to get them redone over and over. Fillers e.g. are 250-400 euros here. And they last up to 6 months only.

Hi doctor thanks for the video . You have mentioned that this device is fda approved (1.28) But the FDA states that this is only FDA CLEARED class II medical device. Hello, great video as always!Can fractional lasers cause facial fat loss?I was considering getting a professional laser treatment but if there is even a chance that it could happen I cannot take the chance.I am naturally thin and my face is already long and slim.I can't afford to lose any fat . Yes, 7 k will get you Fraxel and fillers for 2 years, that will last another 2 more.. these results would be predicable, and safe. Cant say that in the video as its promotional, and the question is ' Does it work, and if it is worth 7k? ' DL

Love your videos! I really appreciate getting a doctor's thorough and tested opinion on at-home devices. Usually doctors just repeat the marketing material, or dismiss at-home products outright. I also love the info on the latest machines at the doctor's office. I like to know what to ask about when at my dermatologist's office. Like when the US is going to get Kleresca! Other things I've learned from this channel - outside the US, people spell skeptical as sceptical. Who knew?
