This song really touches my heart as a description of my relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ. He's the best that ever happened to me. Still, while listening to the lyrics I sometimes think about my beloved husband. That's beautiful how a true marital love is an image of God's love.

Nate Wick Not as good as God. no where near. i have done all types of drugs and it has never felt the void that God does. And had a woman i loved and she made me feel good. never as much as God. God can really show you what its like.multiply all the best feelings of love and confidence and all of those brain chemicals with drugs or your loved one by 100 and keep searching it for Him and Christ will show you. ask Him to reveal Himself and accept Him He will give you His spirit.

Nate Wick I've tried nearly everything to get me happy and high none of them could ever compare or satisfy me until I surrendered MY life to God and Jesus Christ and praise and feel His presence. There is nothing like the presence of God and when you worship Him with all your heart and mind and soul. You will feel His amazing presence. You can feel how good and holy He is. He is pure light and love. It is too much to bear I still cry when I feel it because it is overwhelming how good holy and loving He is. And unlike drugs, sex or any other addiction His presence heals, restores, renews and revives you. All other addictions do is destroy your life. I will be like a new person after being in the presence of God. That is His amazing grace. So keep your drugs I will choose God everyday because of what He does for me and His great love for me which nothing in the world can compare to. I would rather loose myself in God than any drugs.

I just want to say that I love this song and this band is amazing! Getting to meet them, truly changed my life!! John is such an inspiration to me

The music fills me with thoughts that flood my emotions.

I really love Skillet, because even though they're a Christian rock band, they get in touch with everyone. I'm Catholic, and I'm a big fan of the belief that no one has to be Christian to actually go to Heaven, and I truly believe that God accepts everyone, LGBT, atheist or no matter what. That's why I love Skillet, because I think as far as God goes, they embody Him very well. Also, God is seen in people, not in a book or in a church, and I see people saying things like “This doesn't remind me of God, but so and so...” And I really like that, a lot. Because it's always nice, in real life, to have an alternative to drugs, be it God, or a girl or a boy. So I think that Skillet defiantly embodies an accepting God.
